Role Overview: As a Welfare Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance for the holistic development of the residents at Darul Ihsan Orphanage. Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance in the residents' holistic development

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct Handing-over sessions.
• Update Home Guardians on incidences, medical, school matters and consent forms.
• Update records books & reports.
• Perform hourly round checks from 11:00pm - 5:00am
• Monitor and manage residents during tuition and study period sessions.
• Check and organise all residents’ daily homework. Ensure that every resident has completed their homework by checking and signing their School handbook.
• Ensure that all residents’ school bags are packed and their uniforms are ready before they go to bed.
• Ensure that all residents have brushed their teeth and washed up for bed.
• Accompany resident(s) to clinic or hospital, when necessary.
• Administer medication to resident(s), when necessary.
• Check all residents’ daily attire and grooming before they go to school.
• Issue daily pocket money for all residents going to school.
• Conduct necessary spot checks.

• Carry out the Physical Body Check on residents who are leaving and coming back from Home Leave.

Nursing Aide

Role Overview

You will play a supporting role in the daily operations of Ihsan Kidney Care dialysis centres by assisting the clinical team in delivering safe, compassionate patient care, while ensuring dialysis equipment and the treatment environment are prepared, clean, and well-maintained.

1. Patient Care Support

• Support nurses in carrying out patient care activities before, during, and after dialysis treatment.

• Offer information and support children and their families

Counselling

• Address the development, emotional and mental needs of the children in providing quality care for the children in residence
• Provide counselling to the children and initiate/coordinate support linkages for the children with internal/in-house programmes or/and external agencies including schools, mental health facilities, private practice etc
• Provide counselling to family members in fostering family bonds and restoring relationships

Administration

• Maintain accurate records and prepare social reports (pre-admission, case review/summary, care plans, discharge etc) as required
• Maintain computerized records of admission, discharge and case review of all children
• Ensure case file documents and recordings are kept up to date
• Prepare and submit monthly statistical reports to MSF and other relevant agencies
• Assist in the development of the Casework Management System

Other Duties

• To support MTFA / Darul Ihsan in all events/functions
• To perform any other duties assigned by the Home Manager or Executive Director

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Social Work / Psychology / Counselling
• At least 2 years of casework and counselling experience
• Good care management and counselling skills
• Certified in doing mandatory counselling cases will be an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous and a team player
• Possess a responsible and caring attitude

Role Overview

The Principal is the key leader of the childcare centre, responsible for providing strategic, operational, and pedagogical leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care.

You will oversee centre operations, curriculum implementation, staff development, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement, while fostering a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children. The role requires a strong balance of leadership, curriculum expertise, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Centre & Leadership Management

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the centre’s daily operations
• Set the vision, culture, and strategic direction aligned with organisational goals
• Ensure optimal staffing, deployment, and resource planning
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and outcomes

Curriculum & Programme Oversight

• Oversee the planning and delivery of a holistic, age-appropriate curriculum aligned with Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) guidelines
• Guide teachers in implementing effective teaching and learning practices
• Ensure programmes support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Monitor programme quality and child outcomes through regular reviews

Staff Leadership & Development

• Involved in recruitment of new candidates for preschool
• Recruit, supervise, and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff
• Conduct performance appraisals, coaching, and capability development
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
• Identify training needs and support professional development pathways

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure full compliance with ECDA licensing requirements, regulations, and standards
• Maintain proper documentation, policies, and centre records
• Oversee health, safety, and hygiene standards within the centre
• Prepare for audits, inspections, and accreditation processes

Parent & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong partnerships with parents through effective communication and engagement
• Address feedback, concerns, and enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Represent the centre in engagements with community partners and external stakeholders

Administration & Operations

• Oversee enrolment, attendance, and centre administration processes
• Manage centre budget, resources, and procurement efficiently
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations including scheduling and logistics

Candidate Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education / Early Childhood Studies or equivalent (Leadership)

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in early childhood education, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role (e.g., Vice Principal / Senior Teacher / Centre Leader)

• Strong knowledge of ECDA regulations, curriculum frameworks, and licensing requirements

Director / Assistant Director, Operations

Role Purpose

Accountable for end-to-end mission delivery, service quality, and operational integrity across MTFA’s charitable subsidiaries and mission-anchored social enterprises, ensuring that growth, innovation, and sustainability never compromise care standards, trust, or compliance.

Enterprise Scope

This role has group-wide accountability for charitable subsidiaries, mission-anchored social enterprises (operationally), service quality, safeguarding, compliance-in-practice, and operational readiness for scale (new centres, new services).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide leadership over all charitable services, ensuring consistent service quality, safeguarding, and beneficiary outcomes across entities.

• Establish and enforce group-wide operating principles that protect mission integrity and service excellence at scale.

• Ensure regulatory, licensing, and compliance requirements are fully embedded in day-to-day operations, not merely documented.

• Serve as the primary escalation authority for service failures, safeguarding incidents, and operational or reputational risks.

• Hold operational accountability for mission-anchored social enterprises, ensuring commercial sustainability does not compromise care standards, ethics, or brand trust.

• Lead operational readiness for growth, including new centres, new service lines, and increased beneficiary volumes, with appropriate staffing, workflows, and controls.

• Develop and steward a strong pipeline of mission-driven operational leaders.

• Partner with enterprise leaders across Revenue, Community, and Corporate Services, acting as the final arbiter of operational feasibility in strategic decisions.

Role Overview: The Nurse Executive at Ihsan Kidney Care (IKC) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and supporting the overall operations of the dialysis centre. This role involves supervising nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical SOPs and MOH guidelines, maintaining accurate nursing records, and responding to emergencies. The Nurse Executive works closely with the Centre Manager and Nurse Manager to uphold service standards, support patient education, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsible for the administration and operations of Ihsan Kidney Care (IKC), including but not limited to the following:

• Adhere to all clinical SOPs of Ihsan Kidney Care
• Provide quality nursing care and maintain service standards of Ihsan Kidney Care
• Supervise enrolled nursing staff
• Respond to the needs of the work environment by creating a safe and efficient workplace
• Work closely with the Centre Manager & Nurse Manager in all aspects of operations
• Ensure all guidelines as stipulated by MOH are strictly adhered to
• Provide education of the dialysis patients
• Ensure all nursing records are maintained and updated promptly
• Standby to be on hand, for all emergency cases
• Handle all emergencies in IKC
• Any other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager and Assistant Nurse Manager

Qualifications

1. Education:A recognized nursing qualification (Diploma or Degree in Nursing).
2. Clinical Competency: Strong knowledge of clinical SOPs and the ability to provide quality nursing care in a dialysis setting. Familiarity with Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines related to healthcare and dialysis.
3. Communication and Education: Proficient in patient education, particularly for dialysis patients. Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
