We are looking for an organised, proactive & people-focused Studio Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of SmartFit Pilates.
SmartFit Pilates is a member of Pilates Connect,an ecosystem of Singapore’s leading Pilates and wellness brands united by the belief that expert-guided movement and wellness practices can transform lives at every age. The Role
As Studio Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the studio while delivering an exceptional experience for our clients and instructors.
This is a hands-on role. You will personally manage front desk and operational responsibilities while leading and supporting any other team members.
You will be the operational heart of the business, ensuring that clients are well looked after, instructors are supported, and studio operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients via phone, email, WhatsApp & in-person enquiries.
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide a personalised, boutique customer experience while creating a welcoming, community-focused environment.
- Assist clients with bookings, scheduling, package purchases & account enquiries.
- Follow up with new clients and ensure they have a positive onboarding experience.
- Monitor and facilitate the entire client journey from 1st enquiry through long-term retention.
- Handle client feedback, concerns & service recovery when required.
Scheduling & Studio Operations
- Work closely with instructors to manage their schedules, leave requests & replacement arrangements.
- Optimise studio utilisation and scheduling to balance client preferences, instructor availability & studio capacity.
- Coordinate instructor handovers and client cover arrangements.
- Ensure smooth daily operations across both studios, including ensuring a clean, organised, well-stocked & premium studio environment
- Oversee inventory, procurement & studio maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors, cleaners & service providers.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train & supervise studio coordinators if necessary.
- Maintain & improve if necessary operational procedures, checklists & training materials.
- Ensure service standards are consistently upheld across all shifts.
- Foster a positive, professional & client-focused culture.
Business Performance & Administration
- Monitor key operational metrics including attendance, package renewals, client retention & studio utilisation.
- Prepare operational and performance reports for management.
- Maintain accurate records & ensure administrative processes are completed efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows and client experience.
Business Development and Projects
- Work closely with the Marketing team for the development or facilitation of any marketing materials or events.
- Work closely with the Executive Director for any client relationship management initiatives.
- Any additional projects related to enhancing or ensuring smooth operations of the studios.
What We’re Looking For
Essential qualities:
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Enjoys working with people and delivering excellent customer service.
- Is proactive, resourceful & able to think ahead.
- Takes ownership and follows through on responsibilities.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Is comfortable managing schedules, systems and administrative processes.
- Is at ease with various forms of digital platforms including WhatsApp, MS Word, Outlook, etc.
- Good at prioritisation and can thrive in a busy environment.
- Calm under pressure.
Experience
- 2 – 5+ years’ experience in operations, hospitality, customer service, wellness, healthcare, education or related industries.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Experience in boutique fitness, Pilates, yoga or wellness businesses is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Mindbody or similar booking systems is a plus.
