The Business Development Director is responsible for driving growth and expanding the company’s client base in the construction management sector. This role involves strategic planning, identifying new market opportunities, building client relationships, and leading proposal development to secure high-value projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent business acumen, and proven experience in a senior business development role.

Chair meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, technical experts, etc. to resolve any design/budget/technical issues that might derail the project delivery. Coordinate building inspections by relevant authorities. Direct all site activities of site staff, contractors and suppliers, etc., and manage the communication between different groups to ensure timely response to project requirements. Draw up corrective measures when the building works are off-schedule. Ensure compliance to building regulations and safety measures.

Manage and deliver projects within project timeline and budget, as well as the framework of risk and environmental considerations. Manage budgets of construction projects. Manage work delivery and resources based on the resource allocation and project schedules. Review construction progress and address the needs of the stakeholders at various stages of the project. Work with design teams to review design solutions and ensure they meet project budget and timeline.

15 years of experience in business development or sales in the construction or real estate sector. Proven track record of winning large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of construction management processes and industry stakeholders.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset. Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management software.

Supervise ERSS operators or response team members

Assign roles during sheet pile installation and extract

Conduct shift briefings and performance monitoring

Oversee emergency systems (alarms, CCTV, PA systems, fire panels)

Ensure all systems are functioning and tested regularly

Respond to alerts and investigate soil report

Strong leadership and decision-making under pressure

Knowledge of emergency procedures and safety regulations

Communication and coordination skills

Job Summary

Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for a group of companies in construction, factory, and restaurant operations by handling invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and maintaining accurate accounting records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices, monitor collections, and maintain aging reports to manage Accounts Receivable effectively
• Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, and prepare payments to manage Accounts Payable accurately
• Record financial transactions and maintain accounts using Tally accounting software to ensure accurate bookkeeping
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain proper documentation for financial accuracy and compliance
• Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare financial reports to support management decisions
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to resolve accounting issues and ensure smooth operations

Competencies and Certifications

• Proficiency in Tally accounting software to perform core accounting functions
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field as foundational knowledge for the role
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience to handle responsibilities independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office to support data management and reporting
• Detail-oriented and organized to maintain accuracy and efficiency in accounting tasks
• Ability to work independently to manage workload and meet deadlines
