We are a specialised mathematics enrichment centre in Singapore, providing mathematical olympiad and advanced problem-solving programmes for primary and secondary school students. Our trainers have strong mathematical backgrounds and extensive experience in preparing students for national and international competitions.

We are looking for a patient, careful and mathematically strong Teaching Assistant / Academic Assistant to support our teachers in lesson preparation, student guidance, marking and academic administration. This role is suitable for candidates who enjoy working with students and have a strong interest in mathematics education.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing worksheets, lesson materials, quizzes, homework and revision resources
• Support students during lessons, practice sessions and make-up classes
• Guide students on mathematical problem-solving approaches without simply giving answers
• Mark homework, quizzes and practice papers accurately according to marking schemes
• Record students’ homework completion, quiz results and learning progress
• Help identify common mistakes and learning gaps among students
• Prepare short progress updates for teachers and management
• Assist with classroom management and ensure students remain focused during lessons
• Organise teaching materials, answer keys, student files and academic records
• Help with trial classes, placement tests and student assessment preparation
• Support teachers during competitions, holiday programmes or intensive training sessions when required
• Provide basic academic feedback to students under the guidance of senior teachers

Requirements

• Strong foundation in mathematics
• Diploma, A-Level, undergraduate degree or degree holder in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Computing, Education or a related field
• Good results in mathematics are preferred
• Experience in mathematical olympiad, competitions, enrichment classes or tutoring is an advantage
• Able to explain mathematical ideas clearly and patiently
• Careful and accurate when marking students’ work
• Responsible, punctual and comfortable working with primary and secondary school students
• Able to work on weekends and/or weekday evenings according to class schedules
• Prior teaching assistant, tutoring or student care experience is preferred but not compulsory

We are looking for a responsible, organised and service-oriented Admin Assistant / Centre Administrator to support our daily centre operations and provide excellent service to students and parents.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for parents and students, and will help ensure that the centre runs smoothly, professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries from parents and students via WhatsApp, phone calls, email and walk-ins
• Assist parents with course information, class schedules, registration procedures and fee matters
• Manage student registration, attendance records, class lists and make-up lesson arrangements
• Support fee collection, payment records, receipts and basic administrative documentation
• Coordinate class schedules, classroom arrangements and communication between teachers, parents and students
• Prepare, print, photocopy, scan and organise worksheets, notes and learning materials
• Maintain accurate student and parent records in the centre’s systems
• Assist with reminders for upcoming classes, trial lessons, replacement lessons and centre announcements
• Keep the reception area, classrooms and teaching materials organised and presentable
• Provide general administrative support to teachers and management
• Assist with simple marketing/admin tasks such as updating student lists, preparing notices and supporting enrolment follow-ups
