Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a qualified and experienced mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineer with relevant experience, possess a degree from universities in mechanical or electrical engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board to be overall in charge of all M&E trades,which covers:
Review project specifications and technical clarifications
Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies
Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation
Supervise the M & E works and coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
Ensure timely and smooth progress of works
Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety & environmental regulations are complied with
Ensure project activities complied with the Company’s ISO system
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree Holders from universities in mechanical or electrical engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience of M & E works
Use of Autocad would be an advantage
Proficient in using Microsoft Office
Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork

Ability to oversee the entire process and knowledgeable in project management relating to all operational and administration procedures
Carry out project planning, cost control and project documentation
Provide the direction in construction planning, coordinate works with sub-contractors, Client and Consultants to ensure overall construction progress based on schedule of works
Ensure timely and smooth progress of works
Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety & environmental regulations are complied with

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Dynamic and motivated personality with good communicative and interpersonal skills
shall be qualified, competent and experienced with tertiary qualification in construction, recognised either by the respective Professional Bodies, professional institutions or Building and Construction Authority.and with experience managing and co-ordinating large-scale projects effectively, and with experience performing as a Project Manager role for industrial and/or large-scale developments.
Good leadership to lead a team of project staff
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and familiar with Microsoft Project
Possess Construction Safety Course for Project Manager Certificate

Responsibilities:
Project Management on all company projects in M&E services design, cost, technical and authority matters.
Supervise and provide guidance to M&E Project Engineers & Inspector of Works.
Manage sub-con/in progress production planning & build
Assess M&E contractors progress and variation order claims
Review M&E feasibility studies and cost plan from design stage to tender stage.
Review consultants’ design for compliance of company design requirements on various type of buildings.
Value engineering on design proposals to optimise the cost and to ensure best practices are applied in the projects.
Keeping track on variation and claims of contract and cost impact, report information to Project Manager
Work with QAQC Engineer to ensure quality performance of project to meet client requirement
Monitoring M&E services variation works and costs during construction stage to ensure within budget.
Attend client consultant meeting & involve in pre-tender estimation and tender process for award of Contractors.
Attend meeting with authorities & site coordination between Consultants and Contractors.
Requirements:
At least 6 years of working experience in High rise building projects
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to lead teams and work across different levels including managing vendors

Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to be able to communicate with Mandarin speaking staff.
