Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to support the day-to-day operations of the company’s domain platform, execution of user growth initiatives, and implementation of operational strategies. This role is responsible for translating company strategy into actionable operational plans, leading team management, and driving data-driven optimization. The position plays a critical role in ensuring platform stability, driving user growth, enhancing service quality, and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Operations Execution and Management

Oversee daily platform operations to ensure system stability and efficient operational processes.

Drive process optimization based on strategies set by the COO to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Monitor operational performance and continuously enhance user experience.

2. User Growth and Customer Operations

Execute user growth initiatives to support acquisition, conversion, and engagement.

Follow up on user feedback and drive improvements in customer experience.

Support the development and implementation of user retention and lifecycle management strategies.

3. Data Analysis and Operational Optimization

Track key operational metrics (e.g., user activity, retention rate, conversion rate).

Identify issues through data analysis and propose optimization solutions.

Support the COO in data-driven decision-making.

4. Team Management and Execution Excellence

Manage the daily operations of the operations team and monitor performance.

Drive team performance and improve efficiency and collaboration.

Participate in staff training and capability development initiatives.

5. Marketing Execution and Partnership Support

Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns and improve user acquisition effectiveness.

Assist in maintaining partner relationships and supporting business expansion.

6. Product and Technical Collaboration

Work closely with product and engineering teams to implement feature improvements and requirements.

Ensure system capabilities align with operational needs.

7. Risk and Compliance Execution

Identify potential operational risks and escalate in a timely manner.

Ensure daily operations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.

2. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the domain industry, with at least 3 years of team management experience.

3. Proven experience in the domain industry (domain registrar, domain marketplace, or related internet platforms).

4. Strong understanding of the domain ecosystem, including registries, registrars, and ICANN-related processes.

5. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or similar tools, with the ability to drive decisions through data.

6. Strong execution and project management capabilities.

7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

8. Fluency in Chinese (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with China-based teams.

9. Knowledge of internet technologies and domain name systems (DNS) is preferred.

We aren't looking for someone to "manage" existing campaigns; we are looking for a Paid Search pro to build our Google Ads infrastructure from absolute scratch. You will be the one to translate our high-touch brand philosophy into a high-performance search engine strategy, moving us beyond the pilot phase and into a scalable US presence.

The Opportunity

This is a pivotal opening for a performance marketer who prefers building over maintaining. You will join us as we transition from a dominant player in the Asian domain market to an emerging challenger in the US.

The mandate is straightforward but ambitious: you will own the end-to-end creation of our Google Ads infrastructure. There is no legacy account to "clean up". You are starting from zero. You’ll have the autonomy to establish the account structure, tracking frameworks, and bidding logic that will define our US performance for years to come. Working within a small, focused team of three, your work will be the primary driver of our search visibility and a critical component of our global expansion.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Setup: Architect and launch our Google Ads account from scratch, including campaign structure, keyword sets, and ad extensions.

Technical Implementation: Lead the setup of GA4, GTM, and conversion tracking to ensure 100% data accuracy from day one.

US Market Execution: Manage and optimize daily spend across the US market, focusing on high-intent search terms within the domain and tech sectors.

Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on core KPIs (CAC, CTR, Conversion Rate), providing the team with clear insights into what is driving growth.

Testing & Iteration: Continuously A/B test ad copy and landing page performance to refine our messaging for a North American audience.

Requirements

● Hands-on Experience: 3-5 years managing Google Ads accounts, specifically building new accounts or launching into new territories.

● Market Context: Experience running performance campaigns in the US market, preferably for SaaS or digital infrastructure brands.

● Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of the Google marketing stack (GTM, GA4, Looker Studio).

● Communication: Clear, concise writing and the ability to explain "the why" behind your search strategy to the wider team

● Excellent verbal and written communication in English as the working language; candidates who can converse in Mandarin are preferred since it would be easier to liaise with stakeholders.
