 Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements

· Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed

· Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements

· Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items

· Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible

· Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated

· Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance

· ·Build scaffolding and other construction structures

Requirements:

· Hands-on experience as carpenter

· Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

· Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)

· Ability to read technical documents and drawings

· Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times

Support the Project Manager in daily construction site operations by supervising workers, coordinating tasks, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules through effective communication and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager or Construction Manager in executing daily construction activities to meet project goals
• Supervise sub-contractors and in-house workers to ensure task completion and adherence to standards
• Coordinate and assign daily work for a team of 20-40 foreign workers to optimize productivity
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings to communicate safety protocols and work instructions
• Manage material orders and prepare daily progress reports to track project status
• Collaborate with site operations staff to align activities with the project schedule
• Verify installation work complies with construction drawings and specifications
• Monitor work progress and quality to maintain acceptable workmanship standards
• Ensure all work complies with project requirements and scope
• Attend weekly meetings with the main contractor to discuss project updates and resolve issues
