Key Responsibilities:
Project & Site Management
Plan, coordinate, and supervisebuilding works (repairs, A&A, refurbishment, reinstatement)
Monitor project progress, schedule, and quality of work
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
Quotation, Proposal & ContractManagement
Prepare quotations using Schedule of Rates (SOR) in line with contract requirements
Develop and submit technical & commercial proposals for client approval
Prepare and manage Variation Orders (VOs) with proper justifications and cost breakdowns
Source and evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotations
Claims & Cost Control
Prepare and submit progress claims
Track claim status and follow up for certification and payment
Maintain proper documentation for all claims and completed works
Ensure project costs are monitored and controlled within budget
Compliance & Safety
Ensure works comply with regulatory requirements (BCA, SCDF, WSH)
Prepare and review Risk Assessments(RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Method of Statements (MOS)
Enforce site safety and good practices
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare reports, submissions, and project documentation
Maintain proper records for audit and compliance
Provide regular updates to management and clients
Facilities Management Integration
Coordinate works with FM operations to minimise disruption
Support maintenance, upgrading, and asset improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering,Building, Facilities Management, or related field
5-10 years of relevant experience in building works / FM / construction
Experience in SOR, quotations, claims, and client submissions preferred
Familiar with MS Office (Excel,Word) and basic project tools
Knowledge of local regulations andsafety standards
