Responsibilities

• Perform cost analysis and evaluate project costing to establish budgets for awarded projects;
• Monitor project cost budgets and cash flows for project, track changes in design and construction works, and revise budget projections accordingly;
• Oversee contractual matters, progress claims, variation claims and payment certifications including final account settlement;
• Establish procurement procedures, manage the negotiation process with vendors and subcontractors, and ensure that purchases are cost effective and subcontracts awarded are within project budgets;
• Oversee operational matters and implementation of project management processes to ensure that projects are completed within budgeted cost and targeted profits are achieved;
• Overall planning and reviewing of project resource allocation(staff, worker, tools and machinery) to optimise operating cost of projects;
• Provide guidance, training and support to project managers, project supervisors, quantity surveyors and designers to achieve timely completion of projects, improve overall efficiency of projects, ensure quality of projects/products and compliance with safety requirements;
• Act as the key contact for customers and external parties such as architects, consultants and regulatory authorities;
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication;
• Maintain and implement ISO Quality System, Safe Work Practices and Risk Assessment in the Company;
• Ensure compliance of works executed with regulatory and statutory requirements;
• Manage and monitor the competency of operational staff and oversee their performance in the aluminium business; and
• Perform any ad hoc duties as and when assigned.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field
• Min 7 years commercial experience in Aluminum industry, or others equivalent
• Have experiences in dealing with HDB project tendering will be advantage
• Equipped with good aluminum knowledge and good interpersonal relationship skill
• Experience in Aluminum industry would be preferred
• Able to travel to Malaysia plant
• Self-motivated individual with good business acumen (Business management, leadership, financial literacy, critical thinking)

Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Support planning & execution of HDB window supply/installation projects.

Coordinate with HDB, main contractors, and internal teams

Ensure compliance with HDB standards, safety (WSH), and documentation.

Monitor site progress, quality control, and budget tracking.

Resolve on-site issues and manage project risks.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field.

Hold a valid RTO (Resident Technical Officer) certificate.

Min. 2 years’ experience in Singapore HDB/construction projects (window/aluminum industry a big plus).

Proficient in MS Project/Office; knowledge of HDB procedures & CONQUAS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop-drawings to include key plans, elevations, sections and details for submission to customers and consultants for approval;

• Check construction drawings issued by customers against contract drawings and highlight any discrepancies for the quantity surveyor team to raise variation claims;

• Liaise with designated professional engineers to develop design drawings and calculations for BCA submissions;

• Monitor BCA submission timelines and coordinate with customers and designated professional engineers to ensure timely issuance of BCA ST approvals;

• Provide technical support to customers and the project team where necessary;

• Attend on-site meetings with customers or consultants and conduct site verification on site where necessary;

• Coordinate with customer representatives and project teams on sample or shop-drawing submissions;

• Assist project managers and project supervisors in the preparation and submission of work method statements for approval prior to trade demonstrations conducted on site;

• Assist project managers and project supervisors in the preparation and submission of material specifications and test reports to customers and consultants;

• Document submission and approval records, and prepare and submit weekly reports to the project team to reflect the status of shop-drawing submissions for projects assigned;

• Prepare and submit as-built drawings to BCA and customers upon work completion; and

• Perform any ad hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Building Architecture, Engineering, or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS).

• Preferably accredited and registered with BCA / IES / ACES.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural supervision work.

• Proficient in AutoCAD; BIM experience will be an added advantage.

• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings, and construction practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills with good analytical thinking.

• Able to work independently; self-motivated and hardworking.

• Able to work under pressure and willing to work extended hours to meet submission deadlines.
