Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Learning Intervention Teacher who can integrate seamlessly into our multidisciplinary team and make an immediate instructional impact. Reporting to the Team Leader for Education, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching children with learning difficulties, addressing both behavioural and academic needs, and delivering high-quality education aligned with the organisation’s philosophy, standards, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Delivery & Implementation
2. Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring
3. Professional Practice & Standards
4. Feedback, Communication & Collaboration
Provide timely and constructive feedback to the Director for Education and parents regarding student progress, challenges, and learning outcomes.
Collaborate with management and colleagues to improve instructional practices and operational processes.
5. Teaching Materials & Lesson Documentation
Develop and customise teaching materials tailored to each student’s individual goals and learning needs.
Document lesson plans, teaching strategies, and student outcomes after each session.
6. Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
Design, implement, and review Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
Ensure IEP goals are measurable, achievable, and reviewed regularly.
7. Documentation & Records Management
Maintain accurate, organised, and up-to-date documentation of all student-related records, assessments, and reports.
