Core Focus: Winning projects, building client relationships, and leveraging your existing worker pool to bid competitively.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue suitable project tenders (civil, rebar, painting, A&A, finishing works) from main contractors, developers, and government agencies (HDB, LTA, etc.).
Build and maintain a strong network of decision-makers (project directors, procurement managers, consultants).
Lead the entire tender process: prepare proposals, cost estimates, and submit competitive bids.
Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and project handover to operations team.
Conduct market research to identify profitable project types and emerging opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure bids reflect actual manpower availability and upskilling capabilities.
Experience Needed
5–10 years in construction business development, sales, or tender management in Singapore.
Proven track record of winning projects from both private and public sectors.
Existing network within Singapore’s construction ecosystem (main contractors, developers, subcontractors).
Familiarity with BCA tendering processes, GeBIZ, and contract documentation.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Singapore’s building codes and safety regulations is a plus.
