We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Green Building Consultant to join our team. As a Green Building Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding clients in adopting sustainable and environmentally friendly building practices. You will provide expertise on green building certifications, energy efficiency, and eco-friendly materials, helping clients design and construct buildings that minimize their environmental impact.

Responsibilities:

1. Support in Green Certifications: Assist in preparing documentation and calculations for green certifications such as Green Mark, LEED, WELL, and Wired score. Coordinate with clients and consultants to gather necessary data for submissions
2. Data Collection and Analysis: Perform basic analyses on energy efficiency, lighting, HVAC systems and other feasibility
3. Technical Support: Provide technical support in preparing energy efficiency and sustainability reports. Review technical drawings and specifications for alignment with sustainability goals
4. Project Management Assistance: Track project timelines and ensure milestone are met for deliverables. Attend project meetings and prepare minutes, ensuring follow-ups on assigned tasks. Communicate witharchitects, engineers, contractors, and clients to align project goals. Represent the ESD team indiscussions about sustainability initiatives.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized records for all sustainability-related documentation
6. Ad-hoc Tasks: Assist with additional tasks as directed by senior ESD engineers or management
7. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in green building practices. Continuously enhance expertise through training and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.
• Professional certification such as LEED AP/ WELL AP/ GMAP/ GMAAP is commendable, but not compulsory
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Lead and manage Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD) consultancy projects in Singapore, overseeing Green Mark certification delivery from design to post-TOP verification, while ensuring project profitability, quality, and client satisfaction. Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Green Mark projects from post-design assessment stage: TOP to final certification (Green Mark Stage 1 and stage 2 verifications)
• Ensure projects achieve targeted Green Mark ratings within timeline
• Oversee post-assessment phase and ensure closure of all outstanding credits
• Energy review, optimisation and verification (ACMV knowledge)
• Act as main point-of-contact with clients, consultants, contractors, and BCA. Maintain good relations across different stakeholders (i.e M&E, Architect etc)
• Lead coordination for TOP readiness and Green Mark verification inspections
• Review and approve Green Mark submissions, ES reports, and technical documentation
• Provide strategic sustainability and design advice to achieve certification targets
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team resources across multiple projects
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with sustainability design intent

Requirements:

• Post-diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Project/ Facility Management or related field.
• Professional certification such as GMAP/ GMAAP
• At least 5 years of working experience in green building consulting
• In-depth knowledge of green building certifications

Job Responsibilities:

• To lead in creating sustainability roadmap, sustainability solution and lead in project execution, providing quality deliverables aligned to client’s expectation
• Be part of the Green Mark, Energy Audit and Energy & Project Management team.
• Manage and work on Green Mark Certification for Existing Building and Data Centre projects.
• Manage and work on Energy Audit / Energy Assessment / Energy Retrofitting, Contracting and Improvement projects.
• Conduct site-walk and gap analysis to determine necessary upgrades and improvement to achieve the desired energy & water savings, sustainability, waste reduction requirements, etc.
• Conduct energy audit on building services (Level 1 – Level 3) to evaluate their performance and determine necessary upgrading measures.
• Conduct energy audit / verification on existing chilled-water plant to verify the performance of the permanent measurement instrumentation and operating system efficiency.
• Perform M&V and BMS trending data collection and analysis to identify building & chiller plant operation characteristics, performance, and areas of potential improvement & energy savings.
• Prepare gap analysis and energy audit / assessment report according to templates and standards, for timely delivery and closure of the gap analysis and energy audit / assessment reports.
• Review and advise on energy & water savings strategies for building undergoing energy efficiency retrofits.
• Involve in energy & water efficiency and energy & water consumption benchmarking.
• Involve in conceptual designs / calculations, tender documents preparation, tender calling, tender evaluation and project management works for Energy Retrofitting / Improvement projects.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Building Services or equivalent.
• Preferably engineers specializing in Engineering – Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical.
• Familiar with Green Building certification (e.g. Green Mark, etc) process and criteria will be added advantage.
• Familiar with ASHRAE Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Energy Audit will be added advantage.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Team player with the ability to work as a team, willing to learn, contribute ideas and assist team member with tasks/duties, when required.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to analyse building or industrial services plant and chilled-water plant operational data.
• Broad based experience of computer systems and MS Office applications.
• Preferably at least 2 years of working experience in M&E / Green Mark / Energy Audit / Energy Assessment, or similar industry.
• Candidates with more than 5 years of experience will be considered for the Senior level.
