Vulnerability Management Engineer – Singapore(Singaporeans Only)
We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-onVulnerability Management Engineer to help strengthen and maintain ourenterprise cybersecurity posture.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying,assessing, prioritizing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across theorganization’s infrastructure and systems. You will work closely withinfrastructure, application, and security teams to coordinate remediationactivities and ensure compliance with internal security standards and industrybest practices.
This role is ideal for someone passionate aboutcybersecurity operations, vulnerability assessment, risk management, andcontinuous security improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Vulnerability Management
Manage and maintain vulnerability scanning tools and agents
Monitor scanner health, plugin update failures, and connectivity issues
Design and optimize scan policies to balance scan depth and operational performance
Triage newly published vulnerabilities (CVEs) and prioritize risks using CVSS scoring
Analyze vulnerability reports and recommend remediation strategies
Ensure systems remain compliant with:
- Internal security policies
- Security baselines
- Regulatory requirements
Coordinate vulnerability remediation activities with infrastructure and application teams
User Support & Security Operations
- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 support for security incidents and service requests
- Work closely with:
- System owners
- Infrastructure teams
- Developers
- Application support teams
- Coordinate patch deployments during approved maintenance windows
- Verify post-patch stability and remediation effectiveness
Participate in 24/7 standby rotation foroperational support
IT Service Management
- Follow ITIL best practices for:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Maintain accurate ticket documentation and troubleshooting records
- Ensure SLA compliance and timely resolution of issue
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Singaporeans only
- Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related discipline
- 2–4 years of experience in:
- Vulnerability Management
- Security Operations
- System Administration / Programming
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as:
- Tenable
- Qualys
- Rapid7
- Strong understanding of vulnerabilities across:
- Windows Server
- RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
- Network Infrastructure (e.g., Palo Alto)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
Preferred Skills
- Scripting and automation experience using:
- PowerShell
- Bash
- Python
- Experience with Dynatrace
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS)
