The Assurance Senior Associates / Senior is expected to lead various sizes of audit engagements which include planning, performing, reviewing of audit work performed by less experienced personnel and concluding the engagement.

• Work closely with clients and manages their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships
• Able to identify unethical behaviour and react based on the applicable ethical principles

Requirements

• A degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy
• Possesses around 2-5 years of external audit experience
• Good command of the English language
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills

We are looking for an Assurance (Financial Services) Associate / Senior Associates, who will be involved in various sizes of financial services audit engagements which include planning, performing, and concluding the engagement. The Assurance Associate will be exposed to a broad range of capital markets entities and investment funds such as private equities, real estate, mutual funds, variable capital companies, etc.

In this role, you will:

Responsibilities 

• Conduct detailed valuations of businesses, intangible assets, financial instruments, and other entities using various approaches 

• Performing in-depth client, industry, market and competitor research 

• Collaborate with audit teams to provide valuation insights and support for audit procedures. 

• Assist in the evaluation of fair value measurements for financial statement disclosures. 

• Address audit inquiries and provide documentation that supports valuation methodologies and assumptions. 

• Communication with clients to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service 

• Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance on valuation techniques and professional development. 

Requirements 

• Ideally a degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics 

• Professional certification (e.g., CVA, CFA) strongly preferred. 

• Minimum 7 years of experience in business valuation, financial analysis, or related field, ideally within a Big 4 or reputable valuation firm 

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint 

• Excellent written/ verbal communication and collaboration skills 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail 

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment with all levels of personnel
