Audit Seniors are expected to lead various sizes of audit engagements which include planning, performing, reviewing of audit work performed by less experienced personnel and concluding the engagement.
Essential attributes
The ideal candidate should:
have sound knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore (or International Financial Reporting Standards) and Singapore Standards on Auditing (or International Standards on Auditing).
have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. The ability to read and interpret technical standards and routine commercial contracts is essential.
be able to work under pressure.
be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job description
In this role, you will:
Perform audits relating to a portfolio of companies across a broad spectrum of industries
Be responsible for the planning, execution and documentation of audit fieldwork
Work closely with team members to execute the audit plan and ensure timely completion of the audit engagement
Work closely with clients and manage their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships
Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners.
Qualifications and experience
A degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy
At least 3 years of external audit experience
Good command of the English language
Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
