1. Job Purpose:

The Internal Control Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and improving the company’s internal control framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, strengthen risk management, and support operational effectiveness. The role ensures the company meets all obligations under relevant listing rules, corporate governance codes, and internal control standards. The role is also responsible for consolidated management accounts, budget preparation, reliable financial forecasting, and quarterly and annual statutory reporting.

1. Main Responsibilities:

2.1 Internal Control Framework & Governance

• Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide internal control framework aligned with COSO and regulatory expectations.
• Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), operations, and compliance.
• Lead periodic assessments of control adequacy, control self-assessment (CSA) programs, and risk/control matrices.

2.2 Regulatory Compliance (Listed Company Requirements)

• Ensure compliance with stock exchange regulations (e.g., SET/SEC Thailand or other listing rules).
• Support preparation and certification of internal control declarations for annual reporting.
• Coordinate with regulators, auditors, and stakeholders on internal control matters.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update internal control practices accordingly.

2.3 Risk Management Integration

• Work with the Risk Management team to align internal controls with key risks identified in the enterprise risk assessment.
• Conduct risk‑based reviews to identify weaknesses, control gaps, and process inefficiencies.
• Recommend and oversee remediation plans.

2.4 Process Improvement & Efficiency

• Review business processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen governance, reduce control failures, and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Partner with IT to assess and strengthen IT general controls (ITGC) and application-level controls.

2.5 Audit Coordination

• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate audit schedules, documentation requests, and management responses.
• Track audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.

2.6 Policy & Procedure Management

• Develop, update, and communicate internal policies, procedures, and control guidelines.
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure policies are aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Provide training and support to employees to reinforce control awareness.

2.7 Management Reporting

• Prepare internal control dashboards, risk/control matrices, and periodic reports for management, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors.
• Present findings, gaps, and improvement strategies to senior leadership.
• Provide insights on control weaknesses and recommend practical solutions.

2.8 Review of Consolidated Financial Statements

• Review monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements prepared by the Global Shared Service Center (GSSC) and local accounting teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.
• Validate reporting from international subsidiaries and hub entities, ensuring alignment with corporate requirements.
• Identify discrepancies, recommend adjustments, and ensure financial data is properly reflected in reports.

2.9. Ad-hoc Financial Support & Special Projects

• Perform additional financial analysis and reporting as assigned.
• Support special projects relating to international hubs, including mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, system implementations, and process improvements.

QA Engineer

Reporting into the Lead Software Developer, you will champion an automation first testing strategy within the Agile team. You will design, build and maintain automated test frameworks while performing focused exploratory testing to validate new features, investigate defects and ensure broad, meaningful coverage across the product.

What you will do

As part of Agile development teams: 

• Create thorough test scenarios and test cases based on agreed acceptance criteria. 
• Provide advice, especially to the Product Owner, on any gaps in, or issues with, the acceptance criteria from a testing perspective. 
• Perform focused exploratory testing activities, documenting results and creating clear, actionable defect reports (using Jira and Xray). 
• Create and execute automated test scripts and contribute to the maintenance of automated test suites. 
• Assist with the creation, management and execution of test plans for larger feature development activities where needed. 
• Actively contribute to Agile team ceremonies, working to ensure they provide input and value to the team. 
• Actively contribute to quality assurance improvements and initiatives. 
• Provide guidance on QA processes, product knowledge as well as test automation knowledge to the Agile team. 
• Review test automation scripts, as well as monitoring failed test cases and maintain its correctness and efficiency. 

Skills we’re looking for

Technical Skills 

• Strong experience in testing web-based and API-based applications, with a focus on automation-first quality practices. 
• Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress, with the ability to design and maintain scalable UI and API test suites. 
• Experience using API testing tools (e.g., ReadyAPI, Postman, or similar), including creating data‑driven API tests — transferable tooling skills are valued over specific products. 
• Proficiency in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) and data‑driven test design patterns. 
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and experience integrating automated tests into pipelines such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. 
• Experience with performance testing using JMeter, ideally executed and managed through Azure Load Testing. 
• Strong exploratory testing skills and a solid understanding of risk‑based testing approaches. 
• Excellent analytical skills for reviewing acceptance criteria, identifying test gaps, and ensuring effective test coverage. 
• Experience working within Agile development teams and contributing to continuous quality practices. 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms — experience with Azure is beneficial, and experience with or willingness to learn AWS is advantageous as we transition. 
• Openness to using AI-assisted development and testing tools, including GitHub Copilot, to accelerate analysis, test creation and automation workflows.

The Farm Compliance Auditor evaluates pig production facilities for compliance with animal biosecurity, welfare, health, and production process from breeding to finishing, often based on existing Pilmico SOPs for Swine Operations.  Likewise, this role is responsible for conducting the same evaluation for the Layer business, but includes auditing and compliance assessment related to food safety, such as HACCP.

The goal of the Farm Compliance Auditor is to ensure that swine and layer operations meet industry-standard, legal and customer-defined criteria regarding animal welfare, biosecurity, food safety, and environmental regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Audit On-Site Standards

• Conduct on-farm audits, inspect sites for compliance with internal Pilmico Farms SOP, legal regulations, industry standards and internal quality requirements.

• Handling Procedures: Observe animal handling at a walking pace, ensuring practices minimize stress, aggression, or welfare compromise.

• Identify areas of risk and evaluate the effectiveness of current controls.

• Ensure frequent and strategic on‑site presence to validate compliance with SOPs, and ensure real‑time visibility of production and biosecurity practices.

• Assess and confirm that actual on‑farm practices consistently align with all documented SOPs, standards, and approved operational procedures across farm operations.

Biosecurity & Health Audits

• Verify biosecurity and herd health management procedures and ensure compliance during audits, verify strict adherence of farm personnel to all biosecurity protocols during every farm visit to prevent disease introduction, amplification, or transfer.

• Strict adherence to biosecurity protocols during farm visits to prevent disease transmission.

• Assess herd health management procedures by reviewing the execution of health‑related SOPs and observing daily routines to ensure alignment with documented standards and preventive health protocols.

• Assess staff behaviors and biosecurity discipline through direct on‑site observation, ensuring that personnel follow required biosecurity practices.

Animal Welfare Standards

• Assess welfare indicators based on standards and documented practices as indicated in Pilmico Farms SOP manual, covering all life stages from breeding to finishing.

• Assess handling, housing, environmental conditions, and behavioral indicators to ensure alignment with internal and regulatory expectations.

• Identify welfare risks and recommend improvements to strengthen humane handling and care.

Corrective Action Plans

• Work with swine vet services and production to produce / develop corrective and preventive  action plans to improve compliance, address deficiencies, and manage the close-out of non-conformances.

• Verify CAPA effectiveness through follow‑up audits.

• Lead and participate in regulatory, third-party, and customer audits, ensuring the timely execution and completion of all subsequent corrective actions and reports.

• Provide clear, evidence‑based recommendations to improve compliance and operational discipline.

Training and Education

• Assist Animal Health and Farm Operations team in ensuring their  audit-readiness by providing guidance to all team members of updated compliance policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular training to team members on the basics of auditing to enable themselves to conduct self-audits.

• Promote a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

On Document Management, Reports and Record Review

• Act as the primary Document Controller for the organization, responsible for the efficient, timely, and accurate preparation and management of all critical SOP documentation.

• Assess operational records for completeness, accuracy, and traceability, ensuring they reflect actual practices.

• Prepare and present detailed monthly and quarterly audit reports to senior management with actionable recommendations.

• Organize and maintain regulatory records and ensure documentation is audit‑ready at all times.

On Research and Regulatory Monitoring

• Researching, understanding, and staying updated on government  and industry-specific regulations.

• Keep abreast of the industry trends and best practices by attending different industry forums and events. 

• Recommend updates to SOPs, audit frameworks, and compliance programs based on new regulatory or industry developments.

• Design test cases and sets of test cases to cover test conditions and documentation
• Responsible to perform manual and automation testing
• Manage all issues and defects that arise during testing and ensure all of them are resolved in a timely manner

Key Responsibilities

• Define, perform, and review Qualification (new products, second source, material changes, design changes, process changes
• Define, evaluate, and implement suitable stress tests for related product applications.

• Review and conduct AML/KYC/PEP and Sanction Checks investigating sanction alerts and adverse media.

• Perform day-to-day compliance activity to support the business i.e. compliance approvals, escalations, alerts
