Job summary
1)     Responsible for the purchase of goods and service to support company’s needs and requirements.
2)Â Â Â Â Â To plan and purchase of supply, keep company operates smoothly and continuous supply of quality goods and raw materials from suppliers at the best possible rate.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Work with respective departments as a team to ensure resolving problems if arise.
4)     To adhere and drive purchasing operations and procedures per company’s policy. Â
Area of responsibilities
1)Â Â Â Â Â Issue purchase order (PO) and follow up with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery.
2)Â Â Â Â Â Ensure timely and accurate entry and maintenance of pricing, quantities, and units of measurement to uphold system integrity.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Review, forecast, and maintain a healthy balance of inventory to prevent out of stock and low inventory turnover.
4)Â Â Â Â Â Identify, drive, and implement cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and process improvements.
5)Â Â Â Â Â Perform pricing tabulation and report for cost saving initiatives, cost competitiveness or cost increase analysis.
6)Â Â Â Â Â To generate reports for management review when required.
7)Â Â Â Â Â Review, maintain, and negotiate current pricing or contracts with suppliers while ensuring the quality of products and services.
8)Â Â Â Â Â Review and resolve any supplier order and quality issues.
9)Â Â Â Â Â Sourcing and identifying potential suppliers for company products, visiting existing suppliers, if necessary, to build and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
10)Â Â Update or creation of existing and new vendor in BC system.
11)Â Â Update or creation of existing and new product item code in BC system.
12)Â Â Assist in ISO audits and preparation.
13)Â Â Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.
Competency requirements
1)Â Â Â Â Â Minimum Diploma / 3 years of Purchasing Experience
2)Â Â Â Â Â Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central System Purchasing module proficiency
3)Â Â Â Â Â Effective Communication Skills
4)Â Â Â Â Â MS Office Excel Skills
5)Â Â Â Â Â Meticulous to Details
6)Â Â Â Â Â Good written, Verbal and Interpersonal Skills
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8 30am - 5 45pm
Saturday: 8 30am - 2 30pm (1 Shift Every 4 Weeks)
