Responsibility to staffand direct the team :
– support the Administration Manager withresponsibility for the overall management ofadministration activities of the organisation
– meet your targets and those of the team as awhole
– smooth running of the of administrativefunction and of the team
– contribute to training and development of theteam
– achieve maximum profitability and growth inaccordance with organisation plans
Day to day responsibilities as agreed withyour Line Manager to include:
– assist Line Manager in managing the overallgeneral administration activities to theorganisation to include filing, data entry, typingand assisting in the management ofcommunications and paperwork, managingdiaries, assisting with travelarrangements/organisation, looking aftervisitors and assisting with general reception andtelephone duties
– assist Line Manager in the recruitment of teammembers, subject to agreed criteria
– assist Line Manager to train and appraiseindividual team members to ensure targets are met
performance and development of teammembers
– reporting (content and format as agreed) on amonthly basis to Line Manager and AccountManagers
– assist in developing plans for team activities toinclude strategy to achieve agreed targets andimprovement.
– prepare and agree individual action plans andtargets for all team members
– assist in the development and preparation ofthe organisation’s strategy and general businessplanning
– prepare and agree presentations andproposals
– delegate authority and responsibility to teamwith supervision, accountability and review
maintain contact with client/customers forfeedback and to obtain client/customersatisfaction
– set an example for team members ofcommitment, activities, work ethics and habitsand personal character
– maintain accurate records as directed
– control expenses to meet agreed budgetarycontrols
– adhere to all organisation policies andprocedures
– interact and co-operate with the all membersof the organisation and its suppliers andclients/customers
