Job Description

As an Automation Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in sustaining and improving advanced automation equipment within the manufacturing environment. This position requires strong technical skills in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment optimization, while collaborating closely with Shift Operations, Equipment Engineers, and tool vendors. You will ensure equipment reliability, drive continuous improvement, and support automation initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Repair and maintain automation equipment such as AMHS (Automated Material Handling System), ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System), and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles). 

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues in electro-mechanical equipment.  

• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment based on layout plans, blueprints, and technical manuals.  

• Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration activities to maintain equipment within specifications.  

• Implement equipment modifications as directed by engineering teams.  

• Monitor tool performance and ensure compliance with shift KPIs for uptime and quality.  

• Prepare detailed shift reports and conduct effective passdowns.  

• Execute continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.  

• Analyze equipment data to recommend advanced troubleshooting and predictive maintenance actions.  

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through proper housekeeping practices.  

• Collaborate with operations and engineering stakeholders to resolve production line issues promptly.

  Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. The Contamination Control & ESD Technician supports the semiconductor manufacturing environment by ensuring that cleanroom conditions and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protections meet factory and industry standards. This role conducts routine environmental monitoring, performs ESD audits, supports qualification activities, and assists in contamination or ESD‑related investigations. The technician works closely with engineers and cross‑functional teams to maintain a stable and compliant production environment, helping safeguard product quality, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleanroom environmental monitoring, including airborne particle measurements, AMC sampling, metal contamination checks, and environmental logging.

Job Description

Project & Technical Leadership

• Manage E&I engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with project specifications, class rules, and international standards (IEC, IEEE, API, DNV, ABS, etc.).
• Define scopes of work for engineering subcontractors and monitor deliverable schedules to meet overall project timelines.
• Review and approve engineering documents including design philosophies, load lists, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, instrument indexes, control system architecture, and room/deck layouts.

Job Requirements
