Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to design, develop, test, and support SQL‑based solutions for banking applications. This role focuses on hands‑on SQL development aligned with functional banking requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development
-Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server solutions using Microsoft SQL Server (currently SQL Server 2016)
Stored procedures
-Develop, optimize, and maintain:

• Stored procedures
• Views
• Functions, synonyms, and other SQL Server objects

-Translate functional banking requirements into robust SQL‑based implementations
-Ensure SQL code quality, performance, and maintainability aligned with development standards

Testing and Quality

-Perform non‑functional testing, including performance and reliability checks
- Support defect analysis and resolution throughout the development lifecycle

Production Support

-Provide application support in production environments
-Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SQL‑related incidents and issues in a timely manner
-Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system stability and continuous improvement

Job Requirements:

-Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in MS‑SQL development

Technical Skills

-Strong proficiency in Relational Databases – Microsoft SQL Server

-Solid experience with:

• Stored procedures, views, functions, and other SQL Server objects
• XML

-Exposure to PowerShell is an advantage
-Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot is a plus

Basic Qualifications

Demonstrable experience with Android engineering and understanding of the ecosystem and strong knowledge of Android SDK and integration.

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of enterprise computing experience, including 3 years of application engineering experience with Native Development and React Native experience would be big plus

Technical Skillsets:

Good experience in native iOS & android app development exposure. Possess strong CS fundamentals, including Data Structure & Algorithms. Strong sense of design and user-centered perspective. Sound knowledge with security by design technologies such as encryption, MFA authentications, OAuth, OWASP Top Ten and industry standards.

• Programming Languages: Kotlin, JAVA, JavaScript, React, React JS, Python
• Adept in using platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• IDE: Node-JS, X-Code, Eclipse, Android SDK, Android Studio, Visual Studio Code.
