We are looking for a Data Center Engineer who will be supporting mission-critical infrastructure across Singapore. This is a hands-on role where you will be working directly in the data center environments managing the full hardware lifecycle - from deployment to decommissioning - while collaborating with global engineering teams.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

• Assists Tool owner in planning the daily work schedule within assigned territory to ensure completion of Preventive Maintenance and remedial maintenance. 

• Uses escalation policies as required to keep management informed of down situations. 

• Performs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual periodic maintenance on systems within established time frames. Also performs wet cleans as required. Work together with fellow Amat Process personnels in the operation and maintenance of systems. Troubleshoots and corrects process variations on systems partially with assistance from senior engineers. 

• Assist in start-up, retrofit and relevant CIPs. Provides technical assistance to less experienced Applied personnel when required. Uses training and experience to identify some process related system problems. 

• Develops and implements plans to increase productivity. Tracks equipment performance and plan uptime improvement. Preferably possess a working knowledge of Statistical Process Control, Quality Improvement Process methods, Risk Assessment and semiconductor industry terminology. 

• Plans and executes support activities on a wide range of Applied Materials' systems. May need technical assistance in performance of daily responsibilities. 

Requirements

• ITE/ Diploma in Engineering or relevant studies

• Basic understanding on semiconductor process/ equipment is preferred

• Past experiences in handling AMAT equipment will be an added advantage

• Must be able to commit normal work hours (non-shift) from Monday - Friday in the beginning and open to change to shift work at a later stage

Key Responsibilities

• Expected to take accountability of assigned project scope of work and timelines.

• May work from limited or no documentation

• Perform tool build, integration, testing and troubleshooting to start-up new tools. 

• Perform Planning, communicating, and coordinating support plans between stakeholders

• Perform periodic diagnostic testing and necessary preventative maintenance to ensure tool productivity and quality performance. 

• Able to work with Clean Room Facilities stakeholders to specify tool facilities requirements to meet needs of the tool.

• Able to work with the facilities group to manage & troubleshoot any facilities related issues

• Applies diagnostic techniques and use of documentation and test equipment. Define & execute Qualification plans.

• Able to perform routine preventive maintenance within established timeframes.  

• Participate in projects to improve productivity, maintenance downtime, costs reduction and uptime improvement.

• Uses training and experience to identify process, software or hardware related system problems.

• Strives to perform BKM’s. Uses knowledge management systems.  Follows all IP guidelines.

• Assumes responsibility for complete customer satisfaction within work area

• Comply with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value

Requirements

• Prior Experience in ALD Process tools is preferred 

• Prior experience in Cleanroom Facilities VMB & Ampoule Set-up is preferred.

• Prior hands-on experiences in Wafer Fabrication Semiconductor tools

• Relevant education qualification in Engineering

• Ability to work with deadlines and with all levels of stakeholders

• Ability to work in cleanroom work environment

• Expected to work shifts and weekends (Rostered)
