Purpose of Role:

To lead and execute risk-based internal audit engagements, provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, and internal control effectiveness, drive compliance and improvements across business processes. The role includes engaging internal stakeholders to conduct audits, enhancing audit methodologies, and supporting organisational compliance and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Internal Audits: Lead and execute internal audit assignments in accordance with the annual audit plan.
2. Develop Annual Plan for Internal Audits: Develop detailed annual internal audit programs using a risk-based approach; present plan to management and internal departments to gain buy-in and management approval.
3. Assessment for Compliance: Evaluate internal control adequacy and effectiveness across financial, operational, and compliance areas against ISO standards and other industry benchmarks, and against established company Standard Operating Procedures.
4. Management Reporting and Follow-up : Prepare high-quality audit reports with insights, findings, and practical recommendations. Present audit findings to management and support remediation planning.
5. Remediation Monitoring: Monitor status of audit issues and validate closure of action plans. Provide updates to management on the status of remediation plans.
6. Support of External Audits: Plan, coordinate and facilitate audits by external parties, including Corporate Internal Audits, ISO Certification Audits.
7. Support of Internal Investigation: Coordinate and plan for internal investigations initiated by management for serious accidents and incidents.
8. Continuous Improvements: Enhance audit tools, templates, and methodologies, including the use of digitalization and AI for improved consistency and efficiency.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards (IIA Standards) and best practices.
• Knowledge and experience in Internal Management System such as ISO 9000 and other Management Systems like ISO 45000 & ISO14000 etc.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools for audit testing and insights (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data to identify control gaps and process risks.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a supervisory and/or leadership capacity.
• Experience as Internal Auditors or Internal Investigators for Incidents and Board Of Inquiries are welcome

Education, Qualifications and Special Training

• Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Business, or Engineering

• Project raw materials purchases, handling of in and out of raw materials and finished products, prepare Delivery Order, Invoices and Quotation. Prepare quotation with the understanding of cost and profit of goods.
• Prepare invoices to support Accounts Department and assisting the QS department with the monthly claims and documents require for the claims.

Job Description

• Manage accurate GL transactions and full set of accounts in ERP system

• Maintain and manage proper fixed assets records and ensure depreciation is posted accurately

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly bank reconciliations

• Record monthly journal vouchers accurately

• Ensure monthly currency revaluation are done properly

• Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement schedules

• Support the preparation and submission of Bank Guarantee/Letter of Credit documents and liaise with banking partners as needed

• Perform month-end account closings, audit schedules, flux analysis of financial reports and any other ad hoc task assigned by Management

• Assist monthly and quarterly HQ Diva submissions

• Prepare documents for interim/annual audit & internal audit

• Prepare and submit quarterly GST and withholding tax to IRAS

• Draft corporate tax computation quarterly and annually, Japanese expat tax computation annually

• Supervise and lead subordinate on handling GL/AP payments, petty cash claims. Ensure supporting documents, records and system entries are accurate and updated.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent accounting certificate

• At least 3 years of experience in handling full set of accounts independently

• Possess good leadership skills, interpersonal communication skills

• Experience in Microsoft Dynamic NAV (ERP) is preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

1. To plan and perform risk identification that has potential threat in organization goals & objectives or smooth running the operations such as financial, operational, compliance, etc 
2. To plan and perform risks analysis based on their probability & effect. 
3. To establish risk mitigation plan with process owners to reduce or remove these risks. 
4. To conduct employee training & awareness to help them to understand organizational risks, how to observe and report the risks. 
5. To prepare risk management report to the Risk committee  
6. To plan and perform regular audit to ensure Regulatory requirements, risk management, internal controls and governance are in place and action plans are taken promptly to reduce  
7. To drive and establish BCM program and Recovery Plan for the region to ensure business continuity in the event of crisis.  
8. To drive and maintain Enterprise Risk Management to ensure risks are monitored and mitigated.  
9. To assess risk environment and effectiveness of the risk management activities periodically due the dynamic nature or new risks. 
   

Requirements

• Good diploma/ degree in Legal, Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration. 

• Candidates hold a MSc in Risk Management or professional certifications such as PRM (Professional Risk Manager) will be advantage.  

• Min. 3 years of experience in implementing risk framework and management system. 

• Experience in facilitating dialogues, processes and decisions with cross functional senior stakeholder. 

• Strong knowledge and understanding of internal controls, risk management and governance, auditing techniques and methodologies. 

• Excellent communication and report writing skills. 

• Good interpersonal and analytical skills. 

Description & Requirements

Responsible for maintaining the accounts of various entities

· Maintain full set of accounts

· Proper and timely accounting transactions in Xero accounting system including processing of AP/AR, receipts and accounting entries

· TT online banking and issue cheques

· Monthly payroll & CPF submission

· Bank reconciliations, staff expense claim & supplier payments

· Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements

· Responsible for corporate tax and quarterly GST submission

- Knowledge of simple corporate secretarial duties eg. GST filing, New company name check, Corp Pass matters
