Role:

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Job Description

Optimizing hard disk storage: Implement strategies to maximize existing storage capacity and explore potential upgrades for significant storage expansion.

Improving sputter machine stability: Focus on enhancing the reliability and performance of the sputter machine and its processes.

1) To lead a group of sputter Engineer Assistant to conduct daily sputtering work

2) To develop new multilayers thin film structure for new hard disk media programs

3) To duplicate hard disk media structure based on design transferred

4) To monitor sputter process & machine stability

5.) Ensure compliance to ISO quality and Safety standards

6) Any other duties as assigned by superior

Job Requirement

・Bachelor/ Master Degree in Materials Science Engineering

・Research fellow in A star research institute (Advantage)

・Working experience more than 2 years in semiconductor field or hard disk industry

・Understanding of Magnetic material multi layers design

・Sputtering machine hardware modification & improvement

・Materials Science Knowledge is a must

・Materials Characterization Skills, ie XRD, AFM, ESCA/XPS is a must

・Thin Film manufacturing process, ie PVD & CVD is a must

・Python Coding knowledge is a plus

・SPC (Statistical Process Control) knowledge is a plus

・After work hours commitment needed (twice a week)

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and configurations for AWS infrastructure provisioning
• Collaborate with application, security and internal teams to translate business requirements into robust IaC solutions 
• Implement and manage AWS Landing Zones using Terraform to establish standardized, secure and compliant multi-account environments 
• Drive continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure through advanced automation, ensuring high availability and cost efficiency 
• Develop Terraform state management strategies, including remote state backends, state locking and disaster recovery procedures 
• Implement infrastructure security controls and compliance requirements through Terraform, following AWS best practices 
• Create detailed documentation and coding standards for cloud infrastructure components 
• Troubleshoot complex deployments and provide technical leadership on infrastructure design patterns 

What Will Make You Shine

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
• Relevant senior-level experience with Terraform, including advanced features such as modules, workspaces, providers and state management 
• Deep expertise in AWS services and architecture, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation and AWS Organizations
