About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract & Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and contract management functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, contract administration, supplier management, and ensuring cost-effective procurement practices to support project and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong negotiation, commercial, and analytical skills.

Job Description

• Manage procurement and purchase of equipment, materials, and services that comply with project agreed specifications and requirements.
• Co-ordinate between suppliers and internal departments/project teams to ensure specifications are met and in compliance with client requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy and Sourcing Management

• Implementation of local sourcing and purchasing strategies based on business objectives and translate them into initiatives and action plans

PROFILE

• Recognized university degree in business or equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative and operational support for procurement transformation initiatives, including postAriba adoption.
• Manage stakeholder communications, ensuring timely and accurate handling of inquiries and requests.
• Conduct Ariba training, coaching to stakeholders, guidance on Ariba navigation and processes
• Deliver analytical support through data analysis, reports, and dashboards to support procurement decisionmaking.
• Review and administer user access controls (e.g. Ariba licences etc).
• Update Procurement Policies, Procedures and Handbook changes and implementation.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and processes.
• Provide support for supplier onboarding activities to facilitate smooth integration and ensure compliance with organisational standards.

• Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field with more than 10 years of work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end procurement processes and systems, particularly Ariba.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and a proactive approach to problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across diverse teams.
