About the Internal Audit Team

Qualifications

What You'll Do

• Efficient execution and management of audit projects according to the risk-based Internal Audit Plan.
• Conduct independent and objective assessments of internal controls, risk management, governance processes, financial results, compliance requirements, and other corporate processes etc.
• Design audit procedures, pre-audit activities, and resource planning.
• Plan and execute review and testing related to internal controls and risk management procedures.
• Ensure complete and appropriate documentation of processes, controls, audit work, and evidence.
• Review work papers and audit reports prepared by other auditors.
• Work with management to provide value-adding and robust recommendations to improve control gaps and support overall business objectives.
• Manage the delivery of timely audit reports, results, and high-quality deliverables.
• Plan and perform data analytics techniques to increase the efficiency of audit.
• Partner with management in their development of corrective action plans in response to audit observations.
• Coordinate and perform follow-up on management action plans and document action plan states based on review and discussions with respective management action plan owners.
• Provide guidance to audit team members.
• Participate in special reviews as and when assigned by the Head of Internal Audit or requested by management.
• Assist in risk assessment exercises to assess the risk profile, highlight key risks and identify controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
• Assist the Head of Internal Audit in annual risk-based audit planning, budgetary process and other matters in support of Audit Committee.
• Assist the Head of Internal Audit to develop internal audit processes and systems (e.g CSA, ITS, etc).

What You'll Need

• Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines.
• Knowledge in other field such as IT, Engineering is an advantage.
• Holders of CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE or other relevant professional.
• A minimum of 7 years of internal audit experience, preferably in manufacturing, chemical industry or commodity trading.
• Good understanding of internal control concepts and risk management (COSO, COBIT, etc).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with strong interpersonal and collaboration, communication skills.
• Analytical, result-oriented and attention to detail.
• Good command in both written and spoken English; second language capability is an advantage.
• Significant business travel is required for this role.

Requirements:

• Possess at least an Degree in Accountancy/ACCA; CA or CIA certification
• At least 5 years of experience in internal audit, internal controls, risk management, or compliance—ideally within real estate, property development, or hospitality.
• Strong background in Big 4 audit and commercial internal audit or internal controls roles.
• Independent, meticulous, and discreet, with strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and the ability to draft policies and manage risk registers effectively.

Join our team for a dynamic role with an outsourced project. We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to support project coordination, internal communications, stakeholder engagement, and operational activities, while contributing to digital and data-related initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Project Management

• Manage sub-projects from end-to-end, under the guidance of the project team
• Track and manage project deliverables to ensure timelines, progress, and requirements are met
• Coordinate with stakeholders to monitor progress, align expectations, and communicate updates and milestones in a timely manner
• Prepare proposals, presentation materials, and supporting documents to facilitate discussions and decision-making
• Support project administration, including documentation, records management, and coordination of implementation, events, and engagement activities

2.     Internal Communications

• Develop visually appealing and effective communication materials (e.g. EDMs, newsletters, internal announcements, and engagement materials)
• Ensure communication materials convey clear, concise, and impactful messaging that complements the visual design
• Perform basic monitoring and analysis of engagement metrics (e.g. click-through rates)
• Support SharePoint and intranet page development and maintenance
• Maintain and update internal knowledge-sharing and engagement platforms

3.     Procurement Support

• Provide procurement support, including sourcing and comparing quotations in compliance with organizational procurement guidelines
• Support the procurement and coordination of materials, tokens, or prizes for events and engagement activities

5.    Administrative Tasks

• Track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and relevant project metrics for reporting purposes
• Provide administrative and operational support, including other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma from a recognized institution, with 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in internal communications experience (i.e creating effective & visually appealing communication materials such as EDMs, newsletters, internal memos, and other engagement materials)
• At least 2 years of proven project management experience (e.g. driving small-scale projects end-to-end, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing timelines)
• Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator or communication tools
• Strong ability to simplify and present complex concepts into a clear, concise, and actionable messages.
• Excellent communication skills, with minimum 1 year of experience in developing presentation decks and proposals
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge or experience in data and/or digital domains is preferred.

Remark:

Provide a portfolio of at least 3 work samples/projects, demonstrating previous experience in communication design, presentations, proposals and engagement work.

Job Type: Full-time, Contract
