• Plan and schedule production for assigned product groups.
• Create and release Work Orders (WO) based on production requirements.

• Track production progress and revise schedules when necessary.
• Maintain accurate planning data in the SAP system.

Key Responsibilities

• To review raw material, work in process and finished goods stock status
• Conduct material requirement planning using firm customer order, forecast, historical order trend and schedule sharing (3rd Party Warehouse)
• Work with production department on the planning of production related to stamping and other in-house secondary processes
• Liaise with internal and external parties with expediting to ensure customer delivery due dates are met.
• Work with production department to monitor production capacity to ensure sufficient support for customer orders
• Assist Planning Manager and work with all related parties to control and maintain an optimal inventory level for material, WIPs and finished goods
• To work with customer service on changes to customer orders
• To comply with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conducts, ISO9001:2015 QMS, ISO14001:2015 EMS & IATF16949:2016 AQMS.

Qualification, Skill & Experience Requirements

Qualifications: Diploma or STPM certificate

Training : ISO 9001 awareness, IATF16949 awareness 2.5.3

Skills: Computer literate with MRP Knowledge 2.5.4

Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Planner in a metal stamping or manufacturing company

Key Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer delivery dates.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze labor, machinery, and material availability to balance resource capacity with shifting demand forecasts.
• BOM & Data Maintenance: Review and update the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and routing configurations within the ERP/MRP system.
• Inventory Control: Monitor raw material stocks, track work-in-progress (WIP), and coordinate with procurement to prevent material shortages.
• Order Tracking: Monitor the progress of production jobs on the factory floor and proactively troubleshoot bottlenecks or delays.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with sales, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing supervisors to align operational priorities.
• KPI Reporting: Track and report on key manufacturing metrics, such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), schedule adherence, and equipment utilization.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience working as a production planner, scheduler, or inventory controller in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for data analysis and reporting.
• Systems Expertise: Proficiency in utilizing ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.

Job Description

1. Receive order from sales department by reviewing the machine capability, shipping requirement and check the inventory on hand before scheduling.

2. Liaising with the shipping personnel on shipping arrangement esp shipping mode and delivery date. 

3. Generate production master schedule for related machine attach with orders intake.

4. Compile slow moving, downgrade product, and customer outstanding report for sales .

5. Arrange production and made commitment to meet the customer requirement.

6. Scheduling and distributing work load to machine respectively. 

7. Monitoring on the daily output for the machines. 

8. Coordinate with production supervisor on the matter of any incomplete schedule, outstanding order, insert or urgent order. 

9. Coordinate with sales personnel and shipping personnel on delay order.

10. Create and maintain the product code. 

Job Requirement

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
2. At least 2 years of working experience in regarding field.
3. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
4. Proficient in verbal and written English, Bahasa Melayu & Bahasa Cina.
5. Able to work independently as well as being a team player with strong commitment to department harmony.
