Job Description:

• Responsible for the end-to-end ownership of Murex MX.3 Datamart reporting design, architecture, configuration, and delivery within a corporate banking transformation programme in Singapore.
• The role encompasses requirements analysis, datamart data model design, Datamart object configuration (dynamic tables, feeders, processing scripts, scanner templates), report development across Front Office, Back Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Finance streams, and the strategic optimisation of batch report performance and EOD processing workflows.
• The incumbent will act as the primary Datamart workstream lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for both hands-on technical delivery and the leadership of a team of Datamart reporting consultants and developers.
• The role requires deep expertise in MX.3 Datamart architecture, the Murex reporting engine, SQL optimisation, and capital markets reporting domains, combined with the team management and stakeholder engagement capabilities expected at a senior Lead level within a Tier 1 bank transformation programme.

Reporting Requirements & Architecture Design:

• Own and lead the Datamart reporting workstream for the MX.3 transformation programme, covering all user streams: Front Office (PnL, positions, trading blotters), Back Office (settlements, confirmations, nostro), Market Risk (VaR, stress testing, sensitivities), Credit Risk (PFE, CVA, CCR), and Finance (accruals, mark-to-market, P&L attribution).
• Engage directly with business stakeholders — including traders, risk managers, finance controllers, and operations heads — to gather, analyse, and formalise reporting requirements into detailed Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
• Understand the Murex system setup at the client: the organisation of support teams, EOD procedures, report delivery processes, and the interdependencies between Datamart and other MX.3 modules (FO, BO, Risk, Finance, Integration).
• Design a generic Datamart data model aligned to the bank's reporting taxonomy, then create the required Datamart objects (dynamic tables, feeders, extractions, scanner templates, processing scripts) to support all reporting use cases.
• Segregate and categorise reports by users, products, creation classes, fields required, complexity, and execution frequency to build a scalable and maintainable reporting catalogue.
• Communicate regularly with business Team Leads and programme stakeholders to ensure all Datamart deliverables are progressing as planned and expectations are actively managed.

Datamart Configuration, Development & Optimisation:

• Perform in-depth analysis of the Datamart setup and table structures to identify redundant objects, minimise batch execution time, and maximise reuse of existing Datamart components.
• Develop and configure all Murex Datamart objects: dynamic tables (PL, CS, DT, MV, LRB, PLVAR), feeders, batch of feeders, processing scripts, scanner templates, extractions, reporting tables, and pre/post filter conditions.
• Design and implement Simulation-based Reports and Risk Matrix-based reports for market risk and credit risk reporting consumers within the MX.3 platform.
• Configure and optimise EOD batch execution: implement parallel feeding strategies, resolve batch bottlenecks, tune query performance, and manage processing script sequencing within Control-M or equivalent job schedulers.
• Implement dataset historisation techniques within the Datamart to support time-series reporting, regulatory lookback requirements, and management information (MI) aggregation.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, extractions, and complex SQL logic (Sybase/Oracle) for data processing, report population, and cross-module data joins leveraging the Murex FIN schema.
• Develop simulation views and scenario analysis reporting objects to support pre-trade and risk management reporting requirements for Front Office and Risk users.

Report Validation, Reconciliation & Quality Assurance:

• Execute processing scripts and batch jobs manually or via scheduling tools (Control-M), and reconcile Datamart report extraction output against onscreen MX.3 views and Mreport output to validate data accuracy.
• Analyse and resolve discrepancies arising from filter condition changes, feeder configuration differences, or data model modifications between Datamart report runs.
• Define and execute Datamart-specific test cases for SIT and UAT; ensure all test documentation and deliverables are consistent with programme testing standards and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in effort estimation for Datamart development and UAT scope; maintain accurate delivery tracking and escalate issues or risks to the Programme Manager in a timely manner.
• Participate in structured peer reviews of requirements, technical specifications, and testing documentation; provide constructive feedback and maintain quality standards across the Datamart workstream.

Migration, Integration & Market Data:

• Lead the migration of legacy Mreport-based reports to MX.3 Datamart equivalents, including gap analysis, mapping documentation, configuration build, and parallel run reconciliation.
• Manage market data integration and validation within the Datamart, ensuring rate curves, volatility surfaces, FX rates, and credit spread data are correctly sourced and represented in Datamart report calculations.
• Leverage NeoXam Data Hub scripting or equivalent data hub capabilities for data pipeline integration between MX.3 Datamart and downstream BI, regulatory reporting, or finance consolidation platforms.
• Coordinate with the Integration Lead to align Datamart extraction design with the broader enterprise data flow architecture, ensuring consistency of data lineage from trade booking through to report output.
• Configure MDCS (Market Data Curve Server), mxres configuration files, and launcher flags to support Datamart batch execution and reporting server performance requirements.

Team Leadership & General Management:

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Datamart reporting consultants and developers; delegate work effectively, review team output, and maintain delivery quality across all Datamart stream deliverables.
• Responsible for end-to-end ownership of Datamart reporting deliverables: from requirements intake through design, development, testing, UAT support, and post-deployment production validation.
• Ensure all team members are guided on best practices for Datamart configuration, object reuse strategies, batch optimisation, and coding standards within the MX.3 reporting framework.
• Demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently where required, displaying strong initiative in identifying reporting gaps, performance issues, or data quality risks before they impact programme delivery.
• Contribute to programme governance forums by providing Datamart workstream status updates, risk and issue logs, and delivery milestone tracking to the Programme Manager and Steering Committee.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Murex Datamart Developer, Consultant, or Reporting Lead on MX.3 programmes within corporate or investment banking environments.
• Mandatory in-depth expertise in MX.3 Datamart architecture and configuration: Datamart management, dynamic tables (PL, CS, DT, MV, LRB, PLVAR), feeders, batch of feeders, processing scripts, scanner templates, extractions, and reporting tables.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent SQL programming skills (Sybase and Oracle); proficiency in PL/SQL for stored procedures, complex joins, and performance-optimised query design across the Murex FIN schema.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to research, analyze, interpret, transform and present reference data for fixed income securities as well as reference data pertaining to those issuers themselves that bring fixed income debt to market. 

Proficiency in English and Korean language is essential to communicate with Korean stakeholders

The incumbent must successfully complete a three-month training program that centers on building enough subject matter expertise and the utilization of the database(s) of record such that the incumbent can independently analyze legal and financial documents associated with securities containing less complex fixed income structures. During training, the incumbent must master all of the subject matter and will be required to pass a series of quizzes and tests as well achieve the accuracy and timeliness metrics that were established for trainees.

The training curriculum for the associate contains high level overviews of the complex structures worked on by more senior personnel as well as reference data client use cases so that the incumbent can differentiate between legal and financial language that is relevant to and required by our client base versus jargon describing information that is not required and, so that the incumbent can identify new financing techniques that come to market. The incumbent must then apply this foundation of knowledge via a logical sequence of decision-making events to determine relevancy of said information to our clients for any of their use cases and if deemed relevant, determine the next appropriate steps to ensure high client satisfaction levels. 

The fixed income market consists of over two million active securities and the reference data provided by ICE Data Services for said securities is used by our clients to make trading decisions, settle trades, make investment decisions, manage portfolios, analyze risk, create security master files, create client statements and conduct other back office functions. Our reference data is also used by internal stakeholders such as the Evaluated Pricing, Index and Analytics groups said reference data plays an integral role in determining evaluated prices, determining whether or not a security should be added to or deleted from an index or indices, the weighted average of a security within an index and, performing a series of analytical calculations that are used both internally within ICE and externally by these stakeholder’s clientele.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, collate and transform reference data provided in a variety legal and financial document, third party reports and vendor information while ensuring that the reference data provided in ICE’s products and services accurate, comprehensive and in a timely manner, namely best in class
• Make sound, subjective decisions when interpreting legal and financial information by utilizing subject matter expertise to infer, deduce and ultimately draw the right conclusions
• Provide customer support for users of ICE products by resolving inquiries in a timely manner
• Craft external facing responses for those clients that submitted customer inquiries containing a meaningful, well-thought out, well-constructed answer that includes a restatement of the challenge or question, the analysis completed to satisfy the request and where appropriate, the methodology used to determine the solution
• Procure required documents and/or trusted content utilizing creative internet searches and by conducting direct outreach to issuers, underwriters, fiduciary agents and bond counsel
• Apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative work-flow efficiencies and process improvements resulting in increased accuracy levels, time to market and productivity
• Help identify trends and causation of inaccurate and/or incomplete data
• Participate in ad hoc projects to optimize processes and/or improve the quality of the data set
• Create charts, graphs and presentations for leadership teams
• Use Excel functions to organize, analyze and create reference data

Knowledge and Experience

• Proficiency in English and Korean language is essential to communicate with Korean stakeholders
• BA/BS in Finance, Economics or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated, relevant work experience directly working in fixed income reference data operations or customer service
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured, fluid environment
• Ability to distill large amounts of information into specific takeaways
• Excellent attention to detail and high degree of demonstrated decision-making and problem solving skills

Job Description & Requirements

The Rotating Shift Technician is responsible for supporting 24×7 data centre operations, ensuring the reliability, safety, and continuity of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), critical infrastructure, and facilities systems in accordance with approved procedures, service level agreements (SLAs), and safety requirements.

·      Perform continuous monitoring, routine patrols, and inspection of data centre infrastructure, critical facilities, and associated equipment.

·      Manage day-to-day maintenance coordination, and escalate any critical troubleshooting requirements that needs to be conducted by manufacturers.

·      Conduct routine checks of M&E and critical systems performance.

·      Record and report daily operating conditions, abnormalities, and system status.

·      Supervise and oversee OEMs, subcontractors, and service vendors performing works on electrical, mechanical, fire, and critical facilities systems.

·      Ensure all vendors deliver competent, safe, and quality services in compliance with contractual obligations, site rules, and safety requirements.

·      Coordinate and monitor scheduled and ad-hoc vendor activities, ensuring proper documentation and work completion.

·      Promptly respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations.

·      Execute incident escalation in accordance with approved escalation matrices and emergency response procedures.

·      Provide standby and emergency support when activated, including shift stand-in or additional coverage as required.

·     Ensure proper handover and takeover of duties during shift changes.

·      Carry out duties that comply with approved SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), MOPs (Method of Procedures), and EOPs (Emergency Operating Procedures).

·      Carry out all work strictly in accordance with site processes, operational governance, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

a) To manage and to run the Data Centre operations team on a 24x7 basis to ensure both facilities, IT infrastructure and business applications are operational

b) Accompany & direct Data Centre visitor

c) Support Disaster Recovery activity

d) Ensure all IT related issues are well documented and update management on overall performance status and activities within Data Centre

You will be involved in monitoring the performance and availability of IT services, processing of production jobs, assisting in monitoring and resolution of incidents related to computer hardware, operating system, application systems, data centre facilities and managing the security of the data centre. Supervise service vendors to ensure full compliance to Service Level agreement.

You will also be involved in process improvement initiatives and projects for the data centre.

Requirements

a) Ability to effectively respond to all issues, complex enquiries or complaints from Project Leaders, users and/or higher management

b) Knowledge in Data Centre/Critical Services management

c) Knowledge in security, fire and workplace safety

d) Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills and be a team player

e) Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned

f) Preferably certification in ITIL or good understanding of ITIL framework and practices

g) Minimum NITEC IT / Higher NITEC IT qualification

h) Able to work in shift as Data Centre operates 24/7. Each shift is of 12 hours

Duties and Responsibilities
Service matters:
- Liaising directly or indirectly with external customers in Singapore or other countries for any service/ technical related matters.
- Account Management directly or indirectly be it technical or support related matters.
- Respond to customer sites when require.

Operations matters
- Inventory control such as controlling the movements of the spare parts in the store and monthly stock-taking of part etc.
- Issue Service order / Service report / Quotation to either appointed agent or customers.
- Prepare and update all service reports to be submitted weekly for any service tasks or response carried out.
- Liaising with external vendors, customers and Headquarter on any related issues and enquires.
- Impart machine/ service knowledge to peers so as to build up the service capability.
- Conduct demo/ trainings for customers / peers as and when require.
