Community Engagement, Member Satisfaction & Event Management  

1. Communicate and work closely with local teams and members to ensure the highest level of member satisfaction. 

2. Develop community initiatives designed to create connections between members, including member introductions, overseeing in-person events and online events.  

3. Brainstorm, propose, organize and host events for Members and ensuring there is a good balance of business, educational, social, lifestyle, Member appreciation and other types of events as outlined  

4. Coordinating end-to-end event logistics, including vendors, venue bookings, and promotions  

5. Gather post-event feedback to measure success and improve future initiatives  

6. Proactively interact with Members and upsell TEC services such as hosting, event management, etc.

Administration & Reporting  

1. Maintain records of event attendance, member feedback through internal system  

2. Assist in tracking community-related KPIs (e.g., satisfaction scores, retention rates) and prepare reports for reporting manager  

3. Maintain records of photos, videos and other key visuals through internal system  

Online Engagement & Social Media 

1. Design and implement guidelines and best practices for both online and offline communities to optimize member experience. Exercise discretion in guiding prospective members, including possibly gatekeeping where business may not be in the interests of the greater community. 

2. Moderate and facilitate internal Community online forum by posting relevant TEC, member-related and industry content, participating in conversations with forum members, and managing negative comments/complaints in a respectful manner that reflects the TEC value system. 

3. Manage the local posting of Community by submitting content such as photos and videos to Marketing team, and it will be shared regularly on TEC channels based on guidelines 

Membership & Collaboration with Members and Non-Members  

1. Expand TEC Community by acquiring Corporate Members and Access/Individual Pass  

2. Explain TEC policies and procedures to Members, including but not limited to: membership and collaboration agreement, and billing procedures at initial Community welcome check-in process. 

3. Proactively engage members to discover and discuss members’ objectives, i.e. using member service request as an opportunity to learn more about member, member’s business and any other needs member may have. Identify opportunities and act on them to connect members. 

4. Create public events and programs to expand TEC Community bring in potential clients and partners  

5. Develop B2B Showcase through profit-sharing model or upselling of TEC main products and services. 

6. Attend local industry, business and public events as TEC brand ambassador.  

7. Develop business partnership with Chamber of Commerce, Business Association, University Alumni, and other potential Business Community to expand content-based events and expand TEC Community awareness.  

Experience and Requirements: 

1. University/polytechnic graduate with 1-3 years of experience 

2. Prior event management and customer relationship management required, event hosting or MC experience preferred  

3. Passion and understanding for entrepreneurial or other business communities 

4. Exceptional organizational, time management and multitasking skills

Responsibilities:

Outreach to Community

• Support outreach events to community to promote mental wellness and increase public awareness of mental health and sharing of community support mechanisms and resources available

Basic Recognition of Signs and Symptoms of Mental Health Conditions

• Identify persons who are 18 years old and above and at-risk / diagnosed with mental health conditions
• Connecting them with right service for early diagnosis and treatment
• Conduct mental health screening for clients after community outreaches, referred from their families, grassroots organizations / civic groups and other service partners as well as those at risk within the community with an agreed upon identification / assessment tools

Basic Emotional Support, Service Linkages and Follow Up

• Provide basic emotional support and monitoring to clients or caregivers of persons with dementia or mental health conditions through regular home visitations
• Support the implementation of casework interventions
• Support crisis management in accordance to organisation’s policies and procedures

Network and Engagement of Community Partners

• Support engagement with key community partners such as grassroots organisations, social service agencies and religious organisations to raise their mental health awareness, understand services provided by CREST and coordinate mental health training and education

Administration and Documentation

• Submit reports to external parties as specified
• Ensure proper maintenance of case documentations
• Provide administration and logistical support for programmes

Other Duties

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or other fields related to healthcare or community care
• Preferably 2 to 3 years of healthcare/community care experience
• Passionate to work in the mental health sector and community services

About the Role:

Paula's Choice SEA is looking for a Social& Community Intern to support our Assistant Manager, Social & Community across two exciting functions: social media and PR & KOL. This is a hands-on, learn-by-doing role, you'll be in the thick of content planning, influencer coordination, and campaign execution across five markets in Southeast Asia.

You'll be working directly alongside one person who owns both the social and PR/KOL remit for the region. That means real exposure, real responsibility, and real variety, no two days will look the same.

What you’ll do:

Social Media Support

·       Assist in building and maintaining monthly social media content calendars across TikTok (SG, MY,PH)

·       Help draft captions, content copy, and creative briefs aligned to our content pillars

·       Source and compile visual references, trending audio, and competitor content to inform content ideation.

·       Assist in scheduling and publishing content across social platforms using social media management tools.

·       Monitor comments, tags, and community activity across platforms; flag items that need a response.

·       Track and compile weekly/monthly content performance data (engagement rate, reach, views) into reports and decks.

·       Conduct regular trend-spotting on TikTok and Instagram Reels to surface reactive content opportunities.

PR & KOL Support

·       Help coordinate end-to-end KOL gifting and seeding campaigns

·       Assist in drafting and formatting KOL briefs, talking points, and content guidelines for influencer collaborations.

·       Maintain and update the regional KOL and media master list, including contact details, tier classification, and engagement metrics.

·       Support the tracking and compilation of influencer content for campaign reporting

·       Assist in media list management and help prepare press materials, media kits, and product factsheets.

·       Support the coordination of PR events and media experiences — including invitation management, logistics, and on-site assistance.

·       Monitor and collate earned media and influencer coverage across markets; maintain a coverage tracker.

·       Help with post-campaign reporting by pulling data and formatting decks for internal review.

·       Maintain organized filing systems for content assets, campaign materials, KOL contracts, and coverage records.
