We are seeking an experienced Bunker Operator to join a Bunker Trading firm based in Singapore. This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone who can work independently, manage high volumes, and take ownership of the full bunkering cycle from scheduling through to documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme and coordinate barge job orders, ensuring efficient scheduling and vessel turnaround
• Liaise with vessel masters, agents, and port authorities to confirm stem details and operational requirements
• Handle import operations including coordination with MPA, customs documentation, and quantity reconciliation
• Monitor barge nominations, loading orders, and delivery schedules across multiple concurrent stems
• Ensure all bunker delivery receipts (BDRs) and quantity/quality documentation are accurate and filed in a timely manner
• Manage operational issues including disputes, off-spec claims, and delays - escalating where necessary
• Coordinate closely with the trading/sales desk to ensure stems are executed in line with confirmed contracts
• Maintain compliance with MPA regulations and internal HSE/operational protocols
• Support invoicing and post-delivery reconciliation with the finance team

Requirements

• Minimum 4 - 6 years of experience in bunker operations with a physical supplier is essential for this role.
• Proven experience in barge programming and in port operations is essential
• Strong working knowledge of MPA regulations, port procedures, and Singapore bunkering operations
• Able to work independently and manage multiple stems simultaneously with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with bunker operations software an advantage
• Good communication skills for liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field preferred

This position is central to the global expansion and optimization of our ETRM ecosystem. You will partner with external vendors, system integrators, and internal stakeholders to drive post-go-live enhancements and lead global rollout initiatives. Your expertise will be critical across the full project lifecycle - from technical design and infrastructure setup to data migration and go-live execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive high-impact system enhancements and support the subsequent global deployment of ETRM solutions.
• Actively contribute to requirements validation, technical design, and infrastructure setup. You will manage the execution of test plans and complex data migration strategies.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Software Designers to address functional requirements and navigate technical challenges within the system architecture.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the local user community, providing essential system administration and expert support post-implementation.
• Partner with the development team to manage daily incidents and change requests. You will help refine the business support model, ensuring all operations meet established SLA metrics.
• Identify, document, and escalate system bugs or enhancement requests to vendors. You will be responsible for tracking these through to resolution, including rigorous testing in UAT environments before live deployment.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of systems analysis and support experience within the ETRM, Trading, or Fintech sectors.
• Proven experience as a core project member for major ETRM platforms (e.g., Aspect, Enuit, Openlink, Allegro, or Triple Point).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and data visualization. You should be comfortable performing deep-dives into databases to support business logic.
• Solid background in L1/L2 support with a holistic understanding of the commodity trading value chain. You should be a "system champion" who can engage end-users to drive the adoption of new digital initiatives

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with external vendors and system integrators throughout the project lifecycle. This includes validating requirements, shaping functional designs, and spearheading strategies for data cleansing and system migration.
• Act as the primary internal expert to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. You will collaborate with Solution Architects and Software Designers to resolve complex business scenarios and provide scalable functional solutions.
• Lead and participate in initiatives aimed at optimizing business processes and managing organizational change during system transitions.
• Develop comprehensive testing strategies, author detailed test cases, and execute both functional and End-to-End (E2E) testing phases.
• Devise tactical mitigation plans to ensure seamless operations during system cutovers. Following "Go-Live," you will serve as the lead on-site point of contact for user inquiries, business unit training, and the creation of essential user manuals.
• Collaborate with developers to provide L2 support for daily incidents and change requests within the ETRM environment. You will also help define and maintain a robust support model with clearly defined SLA metrics.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized Singaporean institution.
• Proven track record as a Business Analyst within the Commodity Trading sector (ideally Oil & Gas), with multiple years of experience in system implementation or high-level support.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with major ETRM platforms (e.g., Aspect, Enuit, Openlink, Allegro, or Triple Point).
• Significant experience acting as a Functional Consultant during the end-to-end delivery of new ETRM solutions and their subsequent operational phases.
