Requirements:-

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to travel (domestic and international) to customer site (50% of time)
• Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients

Job Description

• Lead and review engineering designs to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and projects and tenders’ requirements.
• Develop and validate geotechnical, transport and building models, parameters, and design solutions.
• Plan and manage design programmes to meet project timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and efficient design delivery.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and interface issues.
• Provide technical support during construction and recommend solutions to site challenges. Ensure constructability, safety, and cost-effectiveness in all design and construction activities.
• Manage design changes, RFIs, and technical documentation in line with contract requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful project execution.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise engineering teams while driving continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

• Minimum requirement with Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, preferably Doctorate Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in local/overseas large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., Airport, MRT, tunnels, reclamation, bridges).
• Strong background in geotechnical, transport design and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience in both design consultancy and construction environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical analysis, soil-structure interaction, and foundation design.
• Familiarity with international design standards (Eurocode, BS, ISO, etc.).
