What you’ll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the IAM & Account Infra team, you will shape the long-term technical vision and architecture for Airwallex’s identity, authentication, and core account domains. Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Roadmap:

• Technical Strategy: Define the long-term technical vision and architectural strategy for Airwallex’s Identity (IAM) and account infrastructure domains. Make high-level decisions and select technology stacks that support long-term scalability.

• Roadmap Planning: Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering Directors to translate business goals into a concrete technical roadmap. Prioritize initiatives based on risk, commercial value, and engineering bandwidth.

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

The Engineering Project and Solutions Division (EPSD) in Air Liquide is responsible for rendering expertise to design, install and manage gas supply systems, storage infrastructure and gas handling equipment to enhance productivity, product quality and safety in our clients’ operations.

The Senior Project Engineer coordinates and oversees assigned engineering projects from inception to completion. What you will do:

The Senior Application Engineer is responsible for technical support – primarily customer quotations and business development case studies for various composite applications. Job Description

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical equipment, including static and rotating equipment.
• Plan, execute, and monitor contractor routine and non-routine maintenance activities; perform troubleshooting or provide technical guidance when issues arise.
• Plan and coordinate shutdown maintenance activities for mechanical equipment in accordance with local and global PM requirements, vendor recommendations, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years of maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry; OR
  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant maintenance experience (preferred).
• Experience in gas plants such as Gasification, SMR, or ASU is an advantage.
• Strong conceptual knowledge in the design and maintenance of mechanical static and rotating equipment, including boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, piping, valves, steam turbines, compressors, and pumps.
• Good working knowledge of industrial standards and codes such as API and ASME for mechanical equipment.
