About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Financial Accounting & Audit Executive to support the company’s financial reporting, audit coordination, and compliance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with statutory and management reporting, and liaising with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
This role is suitable for candidates with strong accounting fundamentals and experience in handling full sets of accounts, audit schedules, and financial compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow reports
- Assist in year-end closing and coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Support GST reporting, corporate tax matters, and regulatory submissions
- Monitor financial transactions and maintain proper accounting documentation
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and government authorities when required
- Support internal control improvements and finance process enhancements
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting and audit experience
- Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and statutory compliance
- Experience in handling audit preparation and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, marine, logistics, or vessel/ship/dredger related project-based industries will be an advantage
- Familiarity with payroll, cost accounting, or multi-entity accounting environment
- Experience with ERP or HR/accounting systems is preferred
