Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

As a Compensation & Benefits Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of employee compensation and benefits, ensuring all packages and policies are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. Your impact includes:

• Payroll & Finance Support: Validate monthly payroll data (new hires, exits, revisions) for submission to providers. Review outputs for discrepancies and sanitize data for Finance team accounting.

About the Role

The AI Operations Specialist is a hands-on, technical-operations leader responsible for building and scaling AI-driven workflows across a fast-growing accounting and back-office services organization. This role sits at the intersection of AI, automation, and accounting operations, driving the transformation of the firm into a modern, AI-enabled back-office platform.

This individual will work closely with accountants, CPAs, and operational leadership to design, implement, and optimize AI-powered solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across both third-party client services and a rapidly growing U.S.-based real estate business.

As a Security Manager, you bring a heightened sense of vigilance, a commitment to maintaining a secure environment, and a passion for ensuring the safety of our guests and staff to our dedicated Security Team. Your role is crucial in upholding the highest standards of security and safeguarding the well-being of everyone within our hotel premises.

• Supports the smooth running of the safety & security department, where all aspects of safety & security are maintained to the highest levels.
• Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
• Delivers on plans and objectives where safety & security initiatives & hotel targets are achieved.
• Manages the maintenance team fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department.
• Responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Delivers an effective planned preventative maintenance programme addressing maintenance, environmental and conservation matters.
• Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.

Role Overview

Better is looking for a world-class Executive Assistant who can think ahead, communicate flawlessly, manage sensitive work, and support a fast-moving UK Managing Director. This is not high-volume admin - it is high-importance work that requires judgement, tone, and absolute reliability.

What you’ll be doing

• Act as the Managing Director’s trusted gatekeeper and first point of contact
• Manage diary, meetings, priorities, and follow-ups with 100% accuracy
• Draft flawless, UK-standard emails and communication
• Liaise confidently with senior executives, investors, and gatekeepers
• Secure meetings, solve problems, and anticipate needs before they arise
• Handle confidential information with absolute discretion
• Coordinate travel, logistics, and occasional personal admin
• Maintain organised, efficient systems that “just work”

What you’ll bring to the team

• Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C‑suite or equivalent senior leadership in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments.
• Exceptional written and spoken English, with a UK-appropriate tone

• Tech-savvy with MS Office, CRMs (HubSpot/Salesforce), and modern tools
