Industrial Connectivity & Automation

• Connect and integrate industrial platforms such as Ignition, HiveMQ, and where relevant HighByte Intelligence Hub.
• Configure industrial communication protocols including OPC UA, MQTT, BACnet, and Modbus.
• Support historian connectivity and OT data exchange with enterprise systems.

Scripting & Operational Support

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation scripts in UNIX shell and Windows environments.
• Support operational automation activities and routine system administration tasks.
• Assist with issue resolution, system performance monitoring, and operational continuity.

Database & Data Management

• Install, configure, and support SQL and NoSQL database environments.
• Perform database queries, schema support, and integration activities across connected systems.
• Enable reliable access to production and historian data.

Architecture & Documentation

• Contribute to system architecture design and technical implementation planning.
• Prepare and maintain installation guides, integration diagrams, system documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Work with enterprise architecture documentation standards and relevant tooling.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical thinking and structured troubleshooting capability.
• Clear communicator able to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail oriented, and dependable team contributor in agile delivery environments.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial systems engineering, IT/OT integration, or manufacturing technology environments.
• Experience in life sciences, regulated manufacturing, or industrial automation is highly desirable.

As a result of continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Azure Integration Developer to join our global team, to provide specialist expertise to manage the fully integration of services underpinned, but not restricted to, the company’s data warehouse solution.  

The Azure Integration Developer is responsible for ensuring robust and appropriate integrations are established ensuring a fully automated and integrated data model.  

You will have strong experience with Azure technologies and a background in developing, designing and implementing complex integration solutions. 

Relationship building with stakeholders across business and IT department will be essential, as will understanding pain points and devising solutions, ultimately leading to a deep technical knowledge of the platforms used and input into development roadmap and driving best practices. 

You will need to have experience working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise tasks that contribute to the delivery of project workstreams, BAU activities, and response to incidents.   

You will be tenacious and passionate, with the ability to take ownership of tasks whilst managing your time effectively, and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.   

You will maintain excellent attention to detail and have a logical approach to solving problems under pressure and an active communicator on technical issues that affect client delivery. 

The role requires you to have the ability to communicate clearly and with impact in a fast-paced and high-pressure situations including the ability to challenge and influence the view of senior stakeholders respectfully, confidently, and effectively to bring a new perspective.  

Tasks:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Azure based integration solutions.  
• Use C# and related .net framework skills to evolve the firm’s integration requirements between services and platforms.  
• Take ownership and build appropriate technical solutions to enable the full exploitation of the internal data warehouse capability. 
• Explain to stakeholders / signatories the benefits of future potential expansion opportunities. 
• Integrate and manage APIs across the technology space. 
• Work closely with Architects and the Data Transformation team. 
• Create and maintain appropriate process, service, and technical documentation.
