Job Scope: Accounts & Finance Executive
1. Financial Record Keeping
* Maintain full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL)
* Record daily transactions (invoices, receipts, payments)
* Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
2. Accounts Payable (AP)
* Process supplier invoices and payments
* Monitor payment schedules and due dates
* Reconcile supplier statements
3. Accounts Receivable (AR)
* Issue invoices to clients/students
* Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on collections
* Update debtor aging reports
4. Financial Reporting
* Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
* Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
* Provide analysis on company financial performance
5. Bank & Reconciliation
* Perform bank reconciliation
* Monitor cash flow and company expenses
* Ensure accuracy between bank and accounting records
6. Tax & Compliance (Malaysia Context)
* Assist in SST / tax filing (if applicable)
* Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
7. Payroll & Expenses
* Process staff payroll (salary, EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
* Handle staff claims and reimbursements
* Maintain payroll records
8. Audit Support
* Prepare documents for internal & external audits
* Ensure proper financial controls and procedures
9. System & Process Management
* Use accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, Xero)
* Improve financial processes and reporting efficiency
* Maintain database accuracy
10. Administrative & Support Role
* Support management with financial insights
* Assist in budgeting for events/projects (e.g., education fairs, tours)
* Work closely with sales/operations team
