Our client, as one of oil and gas trading companies holds a strong presence in Asia and they are looking to hire a Accounting & Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly and annual financial closing activities
• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and financial reporting
• Assist with payment processing and banking transactions
• Prepare cash flow reports and support treasury activities
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and service providers
• Support tax filings and regulatory compliance matters
• Prepare management reports and basic financial analysis
• Work closely with headquarters in Korea and local business teams
• Participate in finance process improvement projects as needed

Job Scope

• Understand client’s business processes and work with users to design and develop an end-to-end solution
• Provide advice and assistance to business users in the effective use of application system and information technology
• Manage the development of the application system and ensure the project is implemented within budget and according to schedule
• Design solutions that are of quality and functional to ensure a good user experience
• Monitors the performance of the application and work with relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot any issues surfaced in the production environment
• Work closely with various technical, solution and information architects to ensure the application developed is robust and align with the Enterprise Architecture
• Produce technical documentation for application systems.

Job Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is required
• 5 or more years of Project Management experience.
• Experience/knowledge in the various technologies supporting CI/CD such as Bitbucket.
• Experience/Knowledge in Java, JavaScript, SQL, Angular, Elastic DSL.
• Great Attitude to bring the best out our team, driven and motivated.
• Team Player; we work together as a team - Autonomous & take ownership.
• Have a keen interest in IT/programming/system designs.
• Good understanding of SDLC.
• Experience in application development using the following technologies and programming languages such as web, object-oriented programming, SQL, Java, JavaScript etc.

Responsibilities:

• Provide system enhancement support by following up progress with Head Office and Singapore, giving feedback, and supporting QA.
• Handle customer migration by making announcements, explaining data format requirements, and arranging penny tests.
• Manage interbank data exchange area migrationby announcing to banks, clarifying data format requirements, and coordinatingpenny tests.
• Oversee overall task progress and resolveissues.
• Review To-Be plan documents in the project.
• Conduct Fit-Gap analysis.
• Define requirements from a Transaction Banking business perspective, summarize them, and provide feedback to the team.
• Arrange and lead internal and inter-departmental discussions with client departments.
• Collaborate with ABeam members assigned to the project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any related fields.
• Minimum with 5-8 years proven consulting orBusiness Analyst experience in a reputable or established consulting firm.
• Experience working and supporting client’s banking system projects is highly preferred.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in banking, specifically in payments or transaction banking (cash management).
• Strong understanding of payment data formats such as MT101, MT103, pain.001, pacs.008, camt.053, camt.052, MT940, MT942.
• Strong consulting skills including logical thinking, issue resolution, communication, meeting facilitation, and documentation using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Project management skills such as progress tracking, issue management, scope and change control, and vendor coordination.
• Motivation to study and quickly gain expertise in bank payment and Transaction Banking Cash areas as a Business Analyst is preferred.
• Good communication skill in both English and Japanese (Business-level proficiency as mandatory) to liaise with Japanese stakeholders and clients.
• High level of self-discipline, accountability, and motivation to learn the client’s business.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to proactively drive tasks and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience in project management, including tracking progress, managing scope and issues, and vendor coordination is a plus.
