AML / Compliance Analyst (Contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented AML / Compliance Analyst to support regulatory compliance operations, focusing on customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and risk assessment activities. This role plays a vital part in safeguarding the organization against financial crime risks and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and periodic account reviews in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Assess and analyse transaction patterns to identify unusual or potentially suspicious behaviour
• Review and resolve alerts generated from screening and transaction monitoring systems in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform risk assessments on new and existing clients, including trigger event reviews
• Prepare clear and detailed investigation notes, documentation, and audit trails
• Support process enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time
• Contribute to the development and updating of policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective case resolution
• Handle additional compliance-related tasks and special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in AML, KYC, CDD, EDD, or Transaction Monitoring within financial institutions
• Familiarity with name screening systems and alert handling workflows
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting strict turnaround timelines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and regulated environment

Job Scope:

• Make outbound calls to introduce the company’s products and services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments between clients and company representatives.
• Maintain accurate records of calls and client interactions.
