RESPONSIBILITIES

The Engineer of BBTC M&E is involved in the operation and maintenance of all power supply installation at Bukit Batok Transmission Centre (BBTC). Ensuring Mediacorp terrestrial transmissions for both FM radio & digital TV meet government & company performance requirements.

Configure & Administer Network

• Design cost-effective network systems and services that meet productspecifications and comply to standards and best practices

Manage Network Operations & Incidents

• Manage network infrastructure to ensure alignment of technical requirements

• Develop the disaster recovery plan, processes and protocols for disasterrecovery of network infrastructure

• Ensure disaster recovery plan testing activities are performed and technicalcriteria are met

• Perform network fault troubleshooting and root cause analysis to locate sourcesof network issues

• Develop and verify recovery solutions in test environments and execute inproduction network

• Implement automation workflow for the management of repeated network issuesin collaboration with relevant teams

• Plan and coordinate network security measures for network infrastructure,software and data

Qualification/ Requirements:

• Possess a diploma or degree in Engineering or IT or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate/ Professional (CCNA / CCNP-Enterprise) or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience and strong knowledge in Enterprise IT infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless and load balancers and project management experience.
• Good to have security background of firewall , F5 and proxy
• Experience with Cisco products and NAC (network access control)

Position Summary
The Systems Engineer undertakes complex projects related to systems provisioning, installations, configurations as well as monitoring and maintenance. He/She applies highly developed specialist knowledge and skills in systems administration and works toward continuous optimisation of systems performance. Implement systems improvements and instructs other IT staff in the resolution of complex issues. Required to be on standby with on-call availability with varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Able to quickly and effectively solve issues as they arise and able to methodically identify the cause of the issue, evaluate it and develop a solution in collaboration with the team. Communicates effectively and displays high level of service standards.

You will create, manage, and execute the deployment plan, transitioning Gemini Enterprise license agreements into production workloads by providing technical leadership to customers and partners. You will have an impact on the velocity and incremental consumption of customer license agreements, leading to accelerated value realization, higher adoption, and future expansion opportunities.
