• Administer enterprise Kafka clusters in Production and UAT.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for Application Engineer positions.
• Candidates with 5 years or more relevant experience may be considered for Senior Engineer positions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and oversee the team in executing maintenance activities, fault rectification, and ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and cybersecurity standards.

• Manage maintenance schedules and logistics to ensure the signalling system's operational readiness, adherence to safety and reliability targets, and alignment with cybersecurity standards and policies.

• Respond promptly to major failures and oversee their rectification within specified timeframes.

• Analyze and evaluate fault data, recurring issues, and system performance trends, providing detailed reports, recommendations, and corrective actions to the Section Head.

• Investigate persistent faults, conduct root cause analyses, and implement effective remedial actions to prevent recurrence.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including manuals, technical drawings, and cybersecurity policies, ensuring proper documentation practices are followed.

• Develop and deliver technical training programs to enhance team competency and ensure alignment with operational and cybersecurity requirements.

• Review and validate training manuals, work instructions, and system protocols to ensure they reflect current operational standards and best practices.

• Oversee spare parts management and monitor equipment performance to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency.

• Safeguard the cybersecurity posture of the signalling system by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing secure practices and policies, overseeing incident response and recovery plans, and promoting cybersecurity awareness within the team to ensure compliance

Requirements

• Possess an accredited Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or Mechatronics

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in operations and maintenance of railway signaling systems or similar

• Preferably knowledgeable in Communication-Based Signalling Systems, Automatic Train Control Systems and railway interlocking.

• Knowledge of computer networking, industrial control systems, and basic cybersecurity is a plus.
