Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve design and technical issues.
• Provides supervision of E&M work at the construction site for transit projects, including electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical installations.
• Review design drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
• Manage the planning, execution, testing, and commissioning of E&M systems to meet project timelines and quality requirements.
• Supervise and guide junior engineers and site teams to ensure proper installation and workmanship.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical submissions, method statements, and material approvals for client/consultant review.
• Monitor project costs and ensure E&M works are executed within budget.
• Provide technical advice and solutions for site issues and design discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation and submission for authority approvals (e.g., LTA, BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA).
• Any other duties that assigned by a superior.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical and mechanical engineering or other relevant fields.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years of supervision experience of E&M work in the construction site for transit projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature of work.
• Preferred to have an LTA/rail projects background
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Familiar with local codes, regulations, and authority submission procedures (e.g., LTA, BCA, SCDF, EMA, PUB).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM (Revit MEP), and MS Office; knowledge of project management software is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
