Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for both permanent roles and event-based freelancers (e.g., promoters, ushers, production crew).
• Partner with project managers to anticipate and plan manpower requirements for upcoming events.
• Address employee relations matters, including grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions, with professionalism and discretion.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives for staff and freelancers, including customer service, health & safety, and event protocols.
• Oversee HR operations such as payroll, contracts, and employee documentation, particularly for freelance and contract staff.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and workplace safety regulations.
• Review and update HR policies and handbooks to align with company growth and industry standards.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, including team-building activities and wellness programs.
Requirements
• Proven experience in HR management, preferably in events, hospitality, or fast-paced industries with freelance workforce exposure.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, talent pipeline building, and workforce planning.
• Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Familiarity with local labour laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in HR operations and documentation.
• Passion for people development, culture building, and employee engagement.
