Key Responsibilities

Realize layout design from schematic presentation.

Layout design implementation includes the following functions:

- Floor planning and device placement

-Passing DRC rules and ensuring LVS

1. End-to-End RF Design Ownership

• Translate product requirements into RF hardware designs (schematic, RF front-end, PCB support).

Job Description

• Position Title: Electrical Design Engineer / Senior Electrical Design Engineer
• Working Location: Tuas Crescent (Transportation Provided)
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.15am – 5.45pm
• Salary Package: Basic + AWS + Variable Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Lead major projects within the Design Department, accountable for the full project lifecycle and team results.
• Plan, assign, and supervise design tasks; mentor and guide the design team.
• Review and approve drawings and technical documents from the team.
• Ensure proper implementation of design controls and maintain quality standards.
• Prepare material requisition lists for projects.
• Design electrical switchboards, control panels, and consoles per client requirements and company standards.
• Create and submit approval/shop/final drawings, short circuit calculations, and instruction manuals.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants regarding technical requirements; participate in technical meetings as needed.
• Communicate technical changes and variations to Sales & Marketing for claims or contract adjustments.
• Liaise with production to follow up on design and shop drawings.
• Support Sales & Marketing with technical input and backup for contract bidding.
• Continuously improve department workflow to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Follow and enforce Quality Management System procedures.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by supervisors.

• Mon–Thu 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review AutoCAD 2D drawings for gas piping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards
• Develop and maintain drafting standards and best practices for engineering and piping design
• Conduct site surveys and update drawings based on actual site conditions
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements and timelines
• Support and guide junior drafters, providing basic training and technical assistance
• Manage documentation, including submission, version control, and proper filing of drawings

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in gas systems, piping, or related engineering fields
• Ability to read and interpret site blueprints and 2D/3D engineering drawings
• Candidates who can start work within a short notice period will be an advantage
