Our client, is an established accounting firm that is part of an international network of independent accounting and consulting firms. They are seeking an Audit Risk, Compliance & Technical Manager who will be responsible for leading and executing risk-based internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management frameworks. This role provides independent and objective assurance to senior management and the Board, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform continuous monitoring of compliance and independence requirements in accordance with ACRA’s Code of Ethics and internal firm policies.
• Oversee the annual compliance declaration process, including confirmations, documentation, and tracking of regulatory obligations.
• Assess potential compliance risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and stay informed of updates to regulatory and professional standards.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the System of Quality Management (SoQM) in compliance with SSQM 1 requirements.
• Establish, review, and enhance SoQM controls, policies, monitoring activities, and remediation procedures.
• Strengthen the firm’s overall compliance, risk management, and audit quality frameworks through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support and advisory on audit methodology, professional standards, and quality control matters.

• Supervise and mentor internal audit executives or associates.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, compliance, or technical accounting.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and quality control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to train and guide audit teams.

Job Summary: A senior preparer position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services for complex portfolios. This role handles a full spectrum of complexity levels (low, medium, and high) with minimal supervision, focusing on sophisticated accounting processes and detailed client deliverables. Core Responsibilities:

Job Summary

• To provide and ensure the timely and high-quality service and deliverables to leading private equity and funds clients under the guidance and direction from supervisors, allocated to you on a regular basis.
