Job Summary
Support the daily operations of the Housekeeping department by ensuring a clean, safe, and service-oriented environment through operational coordination, quality assurance, manpower planning, linen management, and vendor oversight.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure service standards are achieved
• Conduct inspections of patient rooms, public areas, and equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety requirements are met
• Monitor and coordinate housekeeping schedules, manpower deployment, and project cleaning activities
• Supervise, guide, and support housekeeping staff, including training activities where required
• Coordinate linen and uniform management activities and inventory control
• Monitor vendor performance and service quality standards
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management
• Assist with planning, rostering, meetings, and administrative duties
• Support departmental improvement projects and initiatives
Requirements
• Diploma in Hospitality, Facilities Management, Business, or related discipline preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare operations, environmental services, or related fields
• Experience in linen management, uniform management, or healthcare housekeeping operations is advantageous
