What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of projects.

• To oversee the lighting portion of projects, including but not limited to:

1. Concept design
2. Production of lighting layouts in the form of, but not limited to, mark-ups
3. Lighting calculations
4. Energy code compliance
5. Report preparation
6. Presentation materials - renderings and graphic packages
7. Fixture schedules and specifications
8. Hand sketches
9. Develop project cost estimation and recommendation
10. Reviewing mock-ups

• Contribute to work winning and market development.
• Provide deliverables and performance targets that comply with applicable codes and Aurecon standards.
• Manage projects and tasks of lighting design projects, nurture existing client relationships and proactively pursues opportunities for new business.
• Provide client consultation by drawing on professional expertise and deep knowledge of Aurecon’s consultancy services.

What can you bring to the team?

• Bachelors' degree in related field, with 8 years related professional experience in the lighting design industry. Experience in project bidding, work winning, and client engagement is preferred.
• Ability to work closely with clients and architects to develop high quality lighting solutions, and to quickly gain their trust and respect.
• Ability to manage lighting project scope, design resources, and the client to achieve budget and schedule objectives while meeting key stakeholder critical success factors.
• Strong knowledge of local and international applicable codes and standards; and deep understanding and knowledge of lighting systems and lighting controls.
• Good knowledge of Photoshop, DIALux, AGI32, Photometric Toolbox, and other lighting software. Functional knowledge of recent versions of AutoCAD; and preferably, Revit.

About the role

The Executive Assistant will act as the primary point of contact for all matters directed to the CEO. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will manage the CEO’s schedule, travel, communications, reporting, and special projects, while ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders. A core part of the role is acting as the CEO’s “information engine” — gathering, organising, and simplifying information so the CEO can make decisions quickly, and preparing materials that feed into CEO and Chairman review cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the CEO's complex, fast-moving calendar, scheduling meetings, calls, and appointments with precision

• Proactively anticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve them with minimal disruption

• Coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring all logistics and materials are prepared in advance

• Screen, prioritise, and manage a high volume of emails, calls, and correspondence on behalf of the CEO

• Draft, proofread, and send communications including letters, emails, briefing notes, and presentations

• Serve as the first point of contact for senior stakeholders, investors, board members, and development partners

• Arrange domestic and international travel including flights, accommodation, ground transport, and detailed itineraries

• Prepare comprehensive travel packs with relevant documentation and briefings

• Manage visa applications and travel documentation as required

• Track and follow up on key actions, deliverables, and deadlines across ongoing projects

About you

• 2–4 years of experience supporting a senior executive, director, or business leader

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to a dynamic environment

• Professional, polished, and personable with a proactive 'can-do' attitude

• Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification preferred

• Secretarial, business administration, or office management qualification is an advantage

Job Scope:

• Manage and maintain proper filing, scanning, and uploading of records into internal systems
• Ensure accurate tracking and storage of documentation in compliance with internal processes

Provide and lead social work intervention and project/event management to support the work in the Day Activity Centre/Sheltered Workshop for persons with disabilities.

Case Work Management

• Conduct needs and intake assessments of client/family and provided social report with recommendations, to allow them to live independently and be participative in the community.
• Conduct case work management for cases of different risk levels.
• Coordinating service referrals and access to community resource.
• Able to provide psycho-emotional support for clients and caregivers
• Build partnerships and collaborate with other agencies to tap on community resources to provide intervention support to clients and empower/enable clients e.g. for the smooth transition of clients back to community, vocational pursuit and/or independent community living etc.

Community Work and Outreach

• Identify the changing trends and needs of clients.
• Initiate and execute outreach activities so that more persons with disabilities can benefit from the department’s programmes.
• Participate in door-knocking outreach operations.
• Participate in stakeholders/partners’ engagement, where appropriate, with the intention to build capability of stakeholders/partners in the community.

• Lead and implement caregiver support, conduct psycho-educational training, and organise support groups.

Project Management

• Lead and drive community projects and social work initiatives e.g. caregiver wellness programme, resources, and initiatives.

• Maintain minimum requirements for renewal of membership with professional association.
• Participate in research.
• Participate in professional courses to acquire specialised knowledge and skills.

Administration & Operations

• Provide data and information for purpose of department’s progress reports, and data analysis for planning and reporting.
• Work on cross-divisional projects as assigned from time to time.
• To support, where needed, in weekday night and weekends outreach and engagement events/activities.
• Any other duties as required/assigned, from time to time, by Reporting Officer.

REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a degree in Social Work from recognized institutions
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships.
• Preferably have minimum 7 years’ experience in social work with some experience in disability sector.
• Have minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervision.
