Job Summary
The role is accountable for defining and driving enterprise strategy, platform governance, and system performance across GlobalFoundries IT. This role provides thought leadership, monitoring, and automation capabilities, ensuring scalable, standardized solutions that align with business priorities. The position operates at a high level of autonomy, influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive enterprise performance and reliability of IT systems, including infrastructure, applications, network, and monitoring platforms, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution
- Define, standardize, and govern processes across the lifecycle, ensuring alignment with best practices and global consistency
- Lead the design and integration of monitoring tools to enable automated event management, predictive alerting, and improved service resilience
- Architect and implement scalable automation solutions leveraging tools to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives, including enterprise gap analysis, process definition, and value stream optimization to eliminate waste and improve effectiveness
- Provide governance and technical leadership, including application architecture, customization, workflow design, and release management
- Oversee end-to-end testing strategy (UAT, regression, post-release), ensuring quality, stability, and minimal business disruption
- Lead enterprise event and incident management transformation, ensuring timely response, root cause resolution, and minimized downtime for critical business systems
- Establish standards and oversight for system deployment, including OS installation, SOE image management, and enterprise configuration practices
Leadership & Impact
- Serve as a recognized SME and trusted advisor to senior leadership on strategy, platform capabilities, and digital transformation initiatives
- Lead complex, cross-functional programs and influence stakeholders across IT, Manufacturing, and Engineering organizations
- Build and develop organizational capability by mentoring team members and driving technical and functional excellence
- Translate strategic priorities into execution roadmaps, ensuring disciplined delivery and measurable business outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Applications, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in IT business analysis, ITSM, or enterprise systems
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale initiatives, platform governance, and cross-functional transformation
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma and RCA methodologies
