Cluster-Level Software Audit (L11): Conduct a comprehensive audit across 48 racks to ensure consistency in the pre-installed software environment, focusing on BIOS/Firmware parity, Driver versions, and CUDA/NCCL compatibility across all 3,456 GPU nodes.

Fabric-Aware Performance Tuning: Optimize software configurations specifically for the NVLink Fabric and InfiniBand layers; fine-tune BIOS settings (e.g., NPS settings, PCIe Gen5/6 parameters) and kernel-level task scheduling to extract maximum throughput for distributed AI training.

Collective Communication Validation: Lead the validation of the NVIDIA Collective Communications Library (NCCL) and Scalable Hierarchical Aggregation and Reduction Protocol (SHARP) to ensure zero-bottleneck data exchange across the entire 48-rack fabric.

Contingency & Kernel Optimization: Identify and resolve software dependencies or library conflicts (e.g., cuDNN/TensorRT versions); design alternative solutions or workarounds for deprecated kernels to maintain peak hardware acceleration.

Deployment Pipeline & Orchestration: Design the deployment roadmap for containerized AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX, Slurm, or Kubernetes), ensuring seamless integration between the hardware’s GPU-Direct Storage (GDS) capabilities and the software layer.

AIDC Health Monitoring Integration: Design and implement high-granularity software telemetry to monitor real-time GPU/NPU health, power consumption, and thermal states, feeding data into the cluster management system for proactive failure mitigation.

Focus: AI Infrastructure Hardening, Data Sovereignty, and Cybersecurity Governance

Hardware Root of Trust & Attestation: Implement and verify Hardware Root of Trust (RoT) and Secure Boot protocols across the Blackwell GPU architecture and BlueField-3 DPUs to ensure no unauthorized firmware modifications.

Infrastructure Identity & Access (IAM): Design and enforce granular Zero-Trust Access policies for the Management Plane (BMC), ensuring all administrative access is authenticated, authorized, and logged (AAA).

Encrypted Compute Fabric: Orchestrate hardware-accelerated Inline Encryption (using AES-GCM 256) at the DPU level to protect model weights and sensitive training data as they move across the 400G/800G fabric.

Vulnerability & Compliance Management: Conduct continuous vulnerability scanning and penetration testing on the AI software stack (OS, Containers, Drivers); ensure compliance with global data center standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, and NIST AI RMF.

Network Micro-segmentation: Collaborate with Network Engineers to implement logical isolation (e.g., VLAN/VXLAN or InfiniBand Partitioning) to prevent lateral movement of threats within the 48-rack cluster.

Threat Detection & Incident Response: Configure and monitor AI-specific Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to identify anomalies in data traffic patterns that may indicate unauthorized model extraction or data exfiltration.

Secrets Management: Implement secure vaulting solutions for API keys, SSH keys, and SSL certificates used in the deployment and orchestration of the AI cluster.

Focus: AI Fabric Performance, Latency Optimization, and Cluster Scalability

High-Throughput Performance Tuning: Fine-tune network parameters (e.g., MTU sizing, RDMA Read/Write/Send settings, and adaptive routing) to ensure zero-packet-loss and ultra-low latency across 800G InfiniBand and NVLink fabrics.

Congestion Control & Adaptive Routing: Implement and optimize congestion control algorithms (e.g., NVIDIA Sharpv4, RoCEv2 CC) to prevent "Victim Marking" and head-of-line blocking in high-density 48-rack traffic patterns.

Collective Communication Optimization: Collaborate with Software Architects to optimize NCCL (NVIDIA Collective Communications Library) topologies, ensuring data reduction and broadcast operations utilize the full physical bandwidth of the Blackwell architecture.

Network Path Auditing & Topology Validation: Use specialized tools (e.g., NVIDIA UFM, ibdiagnet) to analyze data flow paths, eliminating bottlenecks and ensuring the Software-Defined Network (SDN) layer is perfectly aligned with the physical Two-Tier Fat-Tree design.

GPU-Direct Technologies: Configure and validate GPUDirect RDMA and GPUDirect Storage (GDS) paths to enable direct data movement between GPUs and high-speed storage, bypassing the CPU to minimize latency.

Fabric Monitoring & Telemetry: Design real-time network telemetry dashboards to monitor link utilization, error counters, and port flaps, providing proactive alerts for failing optical transceivers or cables.

Scalability Validation: Validate that the network fabric configuration supports dynamic scaling and multi-tenant isolation (via P-Keys or VNETs) without degrading the performance of large-scale AI training jobs.

NVIDIA Reference Architecture Implementation: Lead the deployment of GB200 NVL72 clusters by strictly adhering to NVIDIA Reference Architectures. Adapt these global blueprints to local AIDC facility constraints while ensuring 100% compliance with power, thermal, and networking baselines.

Establishment of "Show Tech" Field Guidelines: Author and maintain the master technical manual (Show Tech) to translate NVIDIA’s high-level specs into actionable field procedures. This includes defining:

• Fluidic Operational Windows: Mandatory pressure drop limits and flow-rate requirements per rack.
• Connectivity Integrity: Pass/Fail thresholds for 800G link-training and Bit Error Rate (BER).
• Fiber Hygiene: Standardized "Inspect-Clean-Inspect" protocols for all optical interfaces.

Infrastructure Validation & Modeling: Perform Gap Analysis between facility-side delivery and rack-level requirements. Conduct validation modeling to ensure the site's Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs) and 54V DC Power distribution meet the flow and load curves required for a 48-rack cluster.

Environmental & Dew Point Control: Author the Environmental Operational Guideline for high-humidity regions (Malaysia). Define the technical logic for coolant temperature offsets relative to ambient dew points to prevent condensation. Establish mandatory thresholds for site operators to adjust CDU settings, ensuring the infrastructure remains within a safe, dry operating window without requiring custom software development.

Compliance & SI Standards: Audit the implementation of NVIDIA-certified Fat-Tree topologies to ensure 100% alignment with NVIDIA Signal Integrity (SI) requirements. Validate that physical routing and component selection (800G/1.6T) do not deviate from the reference performance envelope. Tier-3 Technical Escalation: Serve as the final authority when site-specific constraints conflict with the NVIDIA Reference Architecture. Provide data-driven engineering resolutions to bridge the gap between facility limitations and system requirements.

Vendor Technical Governance: Act as the primary technical bridge between NVIDIA, OEM vendors, and local M&E contractors. Validate that all third-party components (CDUs, Manifolds, Switch-gear) integrate seamlessly into the 48-rack ecosystem.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate and innovative application and Solution Development engineer to join our team in Electrical & Industrial Solutions Group Center of Excellence (EISG COE) to launch the next generation solution in boundary scan (JTAG, IEEE 1149) testing. Being part of the application solution development team, you will play a leading role in engaging customers to implement solutions to fulfil their requirements. You will provide guidance and drive the team towards the ideal software architecture and design for our boundary scan products.

As an Application & Solution Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Primarily to apply deep technical application and test technology expertise to develop and deliver compelling solutions to customers of the boundary scan solutions in manufacturing.
• Work as part of the product planning team to develop new solutions and technologies to address customer requirements.
• Serve as the customer advocate by thoroughly understanding their testing requirements and challenges. Collaborate with customers and R&D teams to design and implement tailored solutions, encompassing product selection and design, system setup, and testing. Develop and optimize application software in alignment with customer specifications, while integrating Keysight and third-party products and services into ICT systems.
• Develop and debug ICT test programs according to customer’s specifications while maximizing Keysight’s solution capabilities.
• Develop new solutions and technologies to address customer requirements as part of the product planning team.
• Research new areas to improve the testability of the customer’s products.
• Troubleshoot application anomalies on Keysight’s solutions and propose actions or solutions.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a software related discipline, from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with product development/engineering and product management.
• Knowledge of the ICT system (Keysight i3070, i1000 or any other brands) is a must.
• Knowledge of Boundary Scan (JTAG, IEEE 1149) test development and debug is a must.
• Working experience on manufacturing processes and test strategies is important.
