Job Summary

This role ensures ISO 9001:2015 compliance by maintaining and improving the QMS, managing audits, training staff, analysing quality data, and addressing nonconformities. It includes overseeing KPIs, customer satisfaction, subcontractor performance, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating across departments to adapt the QMS to business needs and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and support the maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 certification by ensuring full compliance with applicable standards, corporate requirements, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
2. Develop, review, update, and continuously improve QMS documents to ensure alignment with ISO 9001 requirements, best practices, and group-wide standardization across sister yards.

6. Prepare and analyse monthly QS reports, identify key quality trends and recurring issues, and coordinate with relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
7. Manage departmental KPI reporting, verify performance data accuracy, analyse trends, and follow up with departments to ensure performance targets are achieved and improvement actions are implemented.
8. Monitor Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire (CSQ) results, analyse feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and coordinate corrective actions to enhance customer satisfaction.
9. Oversee in-house calibration records and ensure measuring and test equipment (e.g., micrometres, pressure gauges) are properly calibrated, maintained, and compliant with calibration schedules and requirements.
10. Conduct subcontractor and supplier qualification audits, evaluate performance, and monitor ongoing compliance with quality requirements.
11. Collaborate with departments to identify, review, and update risks, opportunities, and interested party requirements to ensure the QMS remains effective and aligned with business objectives.
12. Actively participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives, quality improvement projects, and operational excellence programs.
13. Perform any other duties, as assigned by superior.

Job Description

• Manage and sustain PVD sputtering processes in manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Thin film ( CVD & PVD ) processes and tools an added advantage.

Job scope:

• Responsible for conducting product quality inspections inaccordance with customer requirements.
• Lead and supervise a team of Quality Control (QC) Inspectorsin performing incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections.
• Collaborate with the production team to address and resolvequality-related issues.
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding qualityconcerns, complaints, and feedback.
• Initiate investigations into non-conformities and ensure theimplementation and closure of corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
• Maintain and manage the Quality Management System (QMS)documentation.
• Participate in both internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements.

Responsibilities:

·               Handle daily Quality Control Product testing insupport of manufacturing, incoming

·               inspection, and recurring inspection.

·               Assist in root cause analysis involving productquality complaint and production

·               reject investigation, checking records andconduct stability study. 

·               Handle tasks assigned by supervisor in supportof continuous improvement Quality

·               Assurance targets such as First-Time Right andmanufacturing performance

·               indices.

·               Assist in maintenance of ISO 9001 Quality systemin terms of documentation,

·               internal audits and good laboratory practices.

Requirements:

·               Possess at least a Nitec/Diploma in Chemicalrelated discipline.

·               Prior working experience in QC function in chemical manufacturing industry is preferred.

·               Experience in operating Gas Chromatograph, Differential Scanning Calorimeters,

·               Autotitrator and Karl Fisher Titrator.
