Experience Requirements

• Sales Leadership Experience: 8+ years of B2B sales experience with minimum 5 years in sales leadership roles managing teams of 5+ people

• Regional Expertise: Demonstrated success in SEA markets with deep understanding of Southeast Asian business cultures, practices, and regulatory environments

• Industry Experience: SaaS, HR technology, consulting, or professional services industry experience strongly preferred

• Revenue Track Record: Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets of $5M+ annually in previous roles

• Enterprise Sales: Experience selling to Fortune 500 companies and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with 6+ month timelines

• Language Skills: Fluency in English required; additional SEA languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.) highly preferred

Responsibilities

Strategic leadership on key clients

• Lead end-to-end communications and media strategy for priority clients, both local and regional.
• Translate client business challenges into clear strategic frameworks that guide planning, channel selection, and investment decisions.
• Work with local market planning teams across the region to ensure strategies are consistently reflected.
• Identify paths to growth through audience insight, market dynamics and cultural trends. Partner with senior client stakeholders to provide proactive strategic counsel and thought leadership.
• Help position the agency as a strategic partner rather than a purely executional media provider.

Agency-wide strategic excellence

• Elevate the quality and consistency of strategic thinking across the agency.
• Champion and embed strategic products, frameworks and tools to strengthen planning standards.
• Guide teams in transforming data, insights, and cultural understanding into compelling strategies.

Required Experience and Capabilities

• 10+ years in media agencies, including within a strategy & insights role.
• A proven track record of leading strategic initiatives.
• Strong collaboration skills - working with different client teams, agency and partner stakeholders to gain alignment around a focused strategic approach.
• Solid understanding of the media landscape to ensure strategies are implementable
• Open minded and flexible in thought and tactics
• Strong quantitative & qualitative analytical skills
