Job Description
- Design, develop, andmaintain scalable fullstack applications with a focus on performance,reliability, and security in a financial services environment.
- Collaborate with enterprisearchitects and business stakeholders to define system architecture, integrationpatterns, API specifications, and data flow designs.
- Own end-to-end deliveryacross the full SDLC: requirements analysis, technical design, development,code review, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Build and maintain RESTfulWeb APIs, backend services, and responsive frontend interfaces to supportlarge-scale internal platforms and portals.
- Integrate with third-partyplatforms and internal enterprise systems using established patterns(OAuth/OpenID, REST, event-driven architecture).
- Implement AI-assisted ordata-driven features (e.g. smart tagging, auto-summarisation, searchenrichment) to improve platform intelligence and usability.
- Champion code qualitythrough code reviews, performance optimisation, security best practices, andtechnical debt management.
- Contribute to sprintplanning, task estimation, and delivery governance in an Agile/Scrumenvironment.
- Mentor junior team membersand provide technical guidance to ensure consistent standards across the team.
- Produce clear solutiondocumentation including architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, and APIspecifications.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in enterprise-grade fullstack development within regulated environments (e.g., banking, financial services, investment platforms).
- Strong backend expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 8), including ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework Core, and solid relational database experience with Microsoft SQL Server (mandatory) plus Redis for caching/session management.
- Advanced frontend capability in React with TypeScript, including state management using Redux or Redux Saga, and building scalable enterprise UIs using component libraries such as Ant Design, Kendo UI, or Telerik with strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals.
- Hands-on DevOps and cloud experience covering Docker containerisation, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitHub Actions), Git-based source control, Agile practices (JIRA/Confluence), and AWS deployment services such as EC2 and S3.
- Proven ability to work in regulated enterprise environments, collaborating directly with enterprise architects and senior stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, production-grade technical solutions.
- Preferred skills include Kubernetes/OpenShift, AI/ML feature integration, blockchain/crypto domain exposure, technical leadership experience, Python, and legacy system modernisation initiatives.
